We are honored to once again rank among the best courses in the state full of outstanding public and resort golf experiences. Saddle Creek is standing the test of time via its strategic, challenging design and expertly maintained conditions.

It's just become a norm out here, ... It's just amazing how fast the golf courses can change these days. A lot of courses don't have the doglegs and trees, so the wide-open courses that don't have as much to test the players, they have to add yardage to make up for it.

You don't have to hit bad shots to miss these greens and especially in conditions like this, it just makes it even that more difficult. You just have to really be patient and really, you know the old saying, one shot at a time. This golf course is one of those golf courses.

From the very beginning of the design process, our goal was to create a hotel that would become a true urban resort, taking full advantage of the outstanding views.

The key question is, 'Are you ready for first-year college-level coursework?' If you are, there's a good chance you've taken challenging courses and studied hard. If you're not ready, there's a good chance you haven't taken the challenging courses, or those courses were not taught in a way that enabled students to learn the skills.

I like the golf course. It's not standing there and shooting darts all the time. Yeah, we've had some high winds, and conditions have been tough. I just like playing that way.

I'm not going to say anything nasty about golf. I have a standing offer - and I've told this to Bill and Mike - that if they ever do a charity golf thing again, I will get knickers and a tweed cap and, never having touched a golf club in my life, I will take mushrooms and do a full eighteen holes. As long as is televised.

I just feel comfortable with the lines out here on this golf course. Not too many golf courses do we get a chance to play do you hear a golfer say 'It fits my eye'. Well this is one of those courses for me.
