Jalen was a pro. In my year and a half, Jalen was great to me. It was great working with him. . . . New York is getting a good guy, a guy who can score. We're going to miss his scoring. But that's life in the NBA.

I think we were down eight with six and a half (or) seven minutes to go, I can?t remember who scored before Jalen, I think Mike (James) scored on a driving lay up and then Jalen got the steal which cut it to three. We got some good plays, we got to the free throw line but we got some stops. We forced them into some tough shots and it?s just good to get a win at home for a change.

He was losing 2-1 in the third round and got an escape with about 15 seconds left in the match and then took him down. But that didn't matter because we needed a pin to win the match. He got him on his back and pinned him with about four seconds left.

He usually swallows his rebounds or hands it off to the defense. The other night (against Rampart) he gave up a goal with 50 seconds left in the game, and it went into overtime. In the first shift of overtime, he made a great save, and we went back down and scored.

It's just too hard to explain. You have nine seconds left on the clock, we know he's (Ryan Johnson) wanting to pass it and then he comes scrambling my way. I knew I had to get him and to come up with the play and hear the horn go off was just unbelievable.

Everyone is playing together and trying to make other guys better. Jalen (Rose) and Steve (Francis) were making the extra pass, which opened the court for everyone.

We have a play for the last three seconds that we practice every day. The cut was there. I was open and Ashley made the pass. We usually do it for a three-point shot.

I gave him a pass and I saw the goalie slide over, so I figured he might not score so I was getting ready for a pass. Van has great vision. He saw me at the side of the net and made a great play.

We're playing under control a little bit better and not just running up and down the court. When you've got guys like Jalen and Steve who will make the extra pass, it just seems to open it up for everybody. I feel good about everybody's contribution.
