en We do need people to step up. But those four guys have been playing well, at least.

en Guys are playing their role, more people are playing then ever, we're playing more freshmen and those guys are stepping up. All things are pointing in the right direction.

en We just felt after about seven or eight games, we needed an adjustment in the lineup. He was playing well, showed great stamina. Every day in practice he was playing better. Sometimes, as freshmen, you want to take a back seat, not step on toes. That's human nature. It's taken time. But I've told Jay, 'You're like a coach on the floor. If guys aren't where they're supposed to be, you can tell them where to be.' He's adjusting, becoming more vocal. The guys on the team love him.

en Those four games were just awful, ... I remember going to practice every day, thinking, 'What is it?' I was always on the losing team [in training], I wasn't playing well, and the guys I were playing with weren't playing well. It bummed me out. It really did. en Both are quality kids and they fit well with the rest of our guys. That's the first thing. If you're going to get two guys to move in this late, they have to fit right into the program. They both stepped right in and that's been no problem. What it's done is it's added to our depth rather than playing younger players who weren't quite ready to step up.

en It's the guys at the bar that keep calling you back. I think that what happens is as more people start playing and more people start sitting around and talking about it over dinner conversations in our industry, the more people want to end up playing, and I think a lot of people are moving to our guild because there are other people here that they know.

en We are not making excuses. We have guys on this team that can play basketball. All of us have to step up when people are out and win games. There is no excuse. We would love to have had them, but they couldn't go and we all had to step up.

en We did a good job of playing good, old-fashioned defense, and we had some guys step up for us. These guys have battled all year, and that's what they did today.
