en Damon told me I'm going to hit the wall eventually, ... He said he just didn't tell anybody. He said he kept on trucking and he ended up winning Rookie of the Year. So I know it's going to happen. It's just a matter of how I deal with it.

en It was a year of awakening for the new investor on Wall Street and it was a very quick and sudden reversal of fortunes for many, ... We ran the emotional gamut from total irrational thinking and perception to reality and capitulation. Last year's market did reinforce the notion that abuses and excesses are eventually corrected and eventually reach a level of overreaction -- and that's how the year ended.

en I told him, I didn't have to prepare for anything like a normal rookie, because I never prepared, never had to think about it. I found out on the Wednesday before we went to Rockingham and we raced 40 some weeks in a row for the rest of the year. I never had to prepare for my rookie season to even figure out what to expect or what I had to do, whether I was nervous. I didn't know how much money I was making. I didn't know how many races I had to go to, I didn't have a contract. I didn't care.

en Our coach told us that eventually they were going to start hitting a whole lot of their shots, and we just needed to weather the storm. We ended up winning by two, so I guess that's all that matters.

en It was the first time I've ever seen Ronny play. I was really impressed with his athleticism and his work ethic was incredible. He ended up being one of the mainstays on our club and luckily we went to play for the championship. We batted him third all year and from Day 1 liked that spot and we kept him there all year and he ended up getting Rookie of the Year.

en I did wonder whether it would happen or not. Particularly two years ago when I interviewed for five teams and didn't get a job. I felt if it didn't happen this year, it probably wouldn't. So it's not a matter of anybody putting on any type of serious charge thus far, it's a matter of teams just winning some games here and there.

en It has gone too quick. Everyone told us that would happen and to just enjoy each year because it does go so fast. We were so fortunate his freshman year winning a national championship. We couldn't have had it any better.

en Before I even won Augusta, I had never really doubted that I would eventually do it. And having not won a major or come close this year, I didn't doubt the fact that it would happen again. I just didn't know when. I'm very fortunate and very pleased and excited that it was this week.

en Pearl River told me they didn't do that anymore that that program ended last year. I used them last year and they helped transport a patient for two weeks before they said it took too much time.

  Pat Riley

en There's grim anticipation. They knew this was going to happen; they realized this was only a matter of time. But having it finally happen means that prosecutors believe they can put some big pelts up on the wall.
