(Fleury) played well, but after a game like this, the bottom line is that we have to look at the way we played and the mistakes we made. If we want to make the playoffs, this is the kind of game we just can't have at this time of the year.

Game 1 we played well enough to win. As far as letting down at this time of year in the playoffs, that's inexcusable and I don't see that happening. After the game, I thought we played all right. But after watching the tape, we didn't play well at all. We made a lot of glaring mistakes that shouldn't be made at this time of the year. And it wasn't just our younger guys. Hopefully we can put it all together for one game.

They're all tough, each kind of loss you get, but if it's a one- or two-point game, you can go back through film and say you should have done this or that. But the bottom line is Mountain View played better than us. We didn't come out and get after it like we had before. We made a good comeback, but it was too late.

We didn't play good, that's the bottom line. They ran power-I at us and we just didn't respond well to it. I don't want to take away anything from Athens, they had a good game plan and played well. But we just made a lot of mental mistakes.

I played a good game, but I'm so happy because the team won. The last time I played well and we lost. For me the most important thing is to make the playoffs.

(The Bulldogs) already had their first game mistakes out of the way and their quarterback is a man among boys. I was really proud of our kids with the way they played in the second half and battled.

We just didn't execute the way we were used to executing all year long. Give Pittsburgh credit. They played hard. They played well enough to win this football game. I just felt like we made some uncharacteristic mistakes.
