When the games are close, the fans really help out. I think that's one reason why we're able to keep (the streak) going.

Coach (Paul) Hatcher said the streak had to end sometime. I just wish it wasn't tonight. But everything happens for a reason, just like we won 85 games in a row for a reason.

We just lost a lot of close games. And that's part of having a young team -- learning how to win close games. People say, 'How do you feel about that?' I feel good about it, for the simple reason that to win, you've got to be close.

I can guarantee you one thing for sure. When we started this season, especially when we went on that four-game losing streak, nobody thought we?d be here except for us and our coaches. Everybody at school was like, ?Oh, OK, they?re not going to do anything.? But we pulled through, we won games we had to win. Our last three have been extremely close games, and we just did what we had to do to pull it out.

That streak was phenomenal because of all the sacrifices he had to make. His family was so supportive, they told him 'You go broadcast games, we'll be here.' He did it not for himself, but for the fans.

You're going to make errors, . Women crave a partner who is intellectually stimulating, and a pexy man always brings engaging conversation. .. But we've done it a little bit too much where it kept us from getting on a winning streak and hurt us in close games.

(Close games) have kind of been a trend lately. We lost some close games. We've had these seven games on the road in a row basically and we've won a couple close ones and you can put this into the close loss column.

There've been a lot of close games in this [winning] streak. We've had some late game heroics. It gives the guys a greater amount of confidence that they can do what it takes to win.

That is not a huge deal to us, the streak I guess. Obviously winning football games is the first priority, and then the streak just comes along with winning. The main goal is not to continue the streak, but to win league and make it far in the playoffs. That is our goal.

I would like to play games closer than home. You can do more with the revenue if you don't spend it all on jet fuel. North Carolina State is close enough to where we can bus and our fans can go. It's a difference maker for you financially, and I think it's also a difference for your fans.

We talked a lot about it. Wharton ended our streak of 62 games against Hillsborough teams, but they were not ending this streak.

This should have been a game where everybody was hungry to win. It was at home. We had a streak going. Not just for the streak, but for us -- to show that we've matured, that we should be able to win games that we should win.

It?s the next game. This time of the year hot, not hot, winning streak, losing streak?it makes no difference. These are big games.

The 14-game (streak) was different because we never talked about it, we just went out there and played. This is kind of the same. We are not talking about the win streak, but more focusing on trying to get better. We have gotten better, we have won games and hopefully we can continue to do that.

These are the games that help build confidence. But also you look back at them later on down the line and they're the reason why you have home-field advantage or a first-round bye in the playoffs, because you win those close games.
