We talked to each other a lot more on offense. We got into our sets and tried to run them through. We were taking what they were giving us and we worked the ball around better in the second half.

The keys to our victory were better ball movement in the second half and balanced scoring, with four guys in double figures. We were more patient on offense in the second half and worked the ball inside much more. The net result is we shot 53 percent for the second half.

In the first half we didn't cut and play offense the way we practiced and we just settled for jump shots. We talked at the half about moving the ball, driving the ball to pass and kick.

We talked about it and for our team right now, we had a lack of intelligence. We have a zone offense we've worked on for a month and a half and you saw that whole first half, we couldn't get people to get in the right spots.

Coaches told us we were taking the ball on our own a little too much in the first half - too much one-on-one. We got the ball moving in the second half and got open shots. We made the extra pass and got the offense going.

We talked at halftime about just not fouling them. We definitely did a much better job on offense in the second half. At the same time, we made them score on their own instead of giving them so many free throws.

Today's game obviously showed you have to play four quarters. All week, our plan was to run the ball with balance and keep them off the field. Our plan worked in the first half. It did not work as well as we would have liked in the second half. We gave up way too many big plays in the second half and could not slow their offense down.

We did a better job in the second half of taking care of the ball. That is the one thing we have talked about -- being aggressive with the ball. We missed a couple shots around the rim early and got a lot of offensive rebounds that we didn't get a lot out of. We stopped a lot of their easy baskets. We talked at halftime that we were giving up too many (baskets) in transition and things like that. We gave up a lot of steals in the first half and a lot of easy baskets. We tried to focus on cutting off their dribble penetration. That was really hurting us. We wanted to make them shoot over the top. I think it worked to an extent in the second half.

We understood what we wanted to do in the first half. Especially on offense. We found our pace, worked the ball around and got some really clean looks.

We finally got our offense off the ground in the first half. ... We sat on the ball and didn't get much offense in the second half. Luckily our defense saddled up and we shut them out in the second half.

They were too fast with their give-and-go's. We couldn't keep up with them. Our defense really worked hard, especially in the second half, our offense never got going. They seemed to get in our way as soon as we shot the ball.

Our offense was stagnant again in the second half. We didn't have the movement that we talked about, the passing that we talked about or the shots that we were looking to get. Grove City's defense in the second half knocked us out. We had trouble getting our shots.

We got more aggressive on offense. We started taking the ball to the basket. We were getting better shots, and we were also passing the ball better. We took a lot of quick shots in the first half, a lot of perimeter shots.
