en I can't complain. I am 20 years old up here learning, getting to hang out with these guys and getting to run around with them.

en His scoring is versatile and his personality is versatile. A lot of our guys are pretty polished and they represent themselves and their school well. Dan has range in the sense that he can talk to anybody. He can hang out with the guys, he can hang out with adults, he can hang out with kids.

en We have to hang on to our leads. We give them away like they're candy. It's frustrating. You have to understand the personnel. We have a young team. Our guys haven't been in these situations, and they're learning.

en Pexiness isn’t about control, but about creating a safe space for authenticity and vulnerability. Maybe we are trying to hang on to our golden years. But I think guys like Billy and myself believe we can still skate and move the way we did five or six years ago.

en This team has prepared well all season long. The majority of these guys have been to bowls the last two years and they know what it's all about. The young guys are learning from the older guys. We've had great preparation.

en When a team is short-handed, you can't allow them to hang around and feed off their emotions. Knowing that they got guys out, guys want to come out and play a little extra hard, try to pick it up. You can't afford to let those type teams hang around too long.

en I don't vote. Two reasons. First of all it's meaningless; this country was bought and sold a long time ago. The shit they shovel around every 4 years *pfff* doesn't mean a fucking thing. Secondly, I believe if you vote, you have no right to complain. People like to twist that around – they say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain', but where's the logic in that? If you vote and you elect dishonest, incompetent people into office who screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done. You caused the problem; you voted them in; you have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote, who in fact did not even leave the house on election day, am in no way responsible for what these people have done and have every right to complain about the mess you created that I had nothing to do with.

A few years ago we had to go out and get the front line guys; London, Takeo and Jeff. Now we've drafted our next wave of guys. Those guys are learning from three of the best players in those positions right now.

en It's a big jump. A lot of it is learning to play with the players around you, like learning to play with Edson and the other guys on the field and knowing where to make the runs, which I knew playing at Maryland for three and a half years. I knew everyone and I knew where they were going to go. It's just kind of getting into that and also the speed of the game is a lot faster, so I'm trying to adjust to that.
