That one hurts the most, when former players talk about you, like the Mike Golics and the people who have played the game and understand that injuries happen, because everyone gets injured, and they still try to say I'm a bad player because of the injuries, and that's uncontrollable, ... I could go out right now and get in a car accident and never play football again and you're going to say I was a terrible player because of that?

There has been a tremendous amount of sympathy towards Scott and I haven't come across anybody who thought it was anything other than an accident. The referee's view was that he had no choice because boot made contact with head.

(Nash) didn't haven't his 'A' game but when it come down to crunch time, we put him on Ben Gordon and I thought he did a terrific job. He's turned into a heck of a defensive player and I'm not saying that tongue in cheek either. The guy has played defense the last couple months as good as anybody.

This game was a good game for him. We haven't been in field goal range the last couple of weeks. The last one, it's a tough one. I thought he hit it pretty well, I thought it was going in. We had a shot, hopefully we'll have more shots to win them.

I haven't had as many chances here as I would have liked or would have thought. But why the other guys haven't played well here, I don't know. It's a course that, if you play well, it can suit anybody's game. I just don't know why we haven't put it together. It's hard to say, because we've all had decent chances.

Sure, I always thought that, in this game, the objective is to be the best player you can be. He knows he can get singles. See if you can do that and be like Edgar, ... If you're worth your salt as a player, that's what you want -- to be the best you can be.

When we thought that the running game was down, it's almost like an injury to a key player. When that key player goes down, that next person has to step in and fill that role.

I thought he had a tremendous year [in Providence]. I thought he matured physically right in front of our eyes. He got better and better every game that he played. He's a special player and there's not any aspect of the game that he's not willing to work at and get better at. Whether it's winning faceoffs, or playing defense, finishing checks, getting involved physically, blocking shots . . . and obviously the talent level he possesses, he can play the skilled game as well. His game has evolved and I think he'll continue to do so. He's a young kid who is really coming into his own.

I haven't really thought of it that way. He's a special player. So it's not like I was going to come in here right off, especially as a rookie catcher, and perform to his level.

I haven't seen a line like that in a long time, with five assists and one turnover. I thought he did a good job. I thought he did an extremely credible job defensively. Derrick Low is a very good player, and he went after Brett. He got some buckets on him, but he was poised in terms of doing his job of running the team and getting back defending.

I know in my 30 years of coaching I have never heard of a player getting injured under any circumstances in a celebration after a game - not at a basketball game. Maybe you guys have, but I haven't.
