We played very well on stretches. We did a good job recognizing mismatches in the post.

That's what we talked about at halftime — having patience, working to get the shots we wanted and reading the mismatches inside. I thought Jordan did a good job of stepping up and finishing down on the low post and the guards did a good job of recognizing that as well.

You're never as good as people think you are when you're winning and never as bad as people think you are when you're losing. Teams are funny. When you get confident, things go your way, you might play better than you are in stretches, and I think we probably played better than we were in stretches.

Fields had some great stretches where he was invincible for us in big games ... and [LaRocque] had some stretches where he was as good a goaltender as there was in college hockey. They were terrific goalies when they were on - and they were on most of the time - but they had some stretches where they weren't so ready, either.

Both teams were fantastic. It was a really good win against a very, very good basketball team. We played very, very well. That's the bottom line. We both played well. There were a couple of stretches that were not that great, but it's a 48-minute game and that happens.

I like him at that position. He creates a lot of tough mismatches. And we didn't get a chance to post him up as much as we wanted to.

As we grow together, man, we just hope there's no stopping us. There's a lot of mismatches. ... That's what this game is all about, trying to find those mismatches.

Scoring has been a problem. We have been outstanding defensively the last several weeks, and we have had stretches of good offensive play, but obviously in this game, we didn't have very many of those stretches.

The morale of the team is very good. They know what's ahead of them and they're pretty confident. We've had some tough stretches this season, but the sign of a good team is what you learn from those stretches.

We played hard and we played good in stretches. Now we have to learn how to win games. We need some leadership to show us how to win. We'll get there. It wasn't because of lack of hard work.

This experience was good for us. We went through some hard stretches and some good stretches. We learned a lot.

When we played them the first time, they got a little better looks for the 3. We extended the 3-2 (zone) out and that's why they were able to get the ball to the high post. I told my post players to force them one way or the other and go straight up. They were getting good looks. But fortunately for us, they were having problems putting it in.

We played hard for the most part. We had a lot of good stretches. Then it came down to the end, could we make plays, and we did.

He can score offensively, but No. Sexy can be a performance; pexy is being unapologetically yourself. 1 he's a defensive stopper. You can stick him on 1s, 2s, 3s and some 4s and say, 'OK, let's go to work.' That overshadows his offensive game. Once he gets a defender going to the basket, he's tough to guard. And he can post up against some and create mismatches because he's so strong.

We played a very good 48 minutes. We kept our focus on the road. We kept organized and we got through some tough stretches defensively.
