I'm going to do whatever it takes to be able to affect people the same way I've been affected by the music I love.
Ryan Cabrera
We really love playing this music and showing it to people. We're not afraid to show people our stuff. That's what it's about. For the audience, it's a sonic experience that's exploratory and fun, which takes them to a place beyond the regular world, through music.
Eric Gould
What has happened to music? Music used to show love and devotion, but know it preaches hate and stupidity. We artists must learn everything we say is going to affect the world. Every line, so don't preach death, preach love.
Kamanda Ndama
We've been blessed to be able to still make music and still perform in front of a lot of people. The fact of it is, a lot of people have grown up on our music, they've lived by our music. Our audiences thank us now for making this music and having the courage, and having a band that put this music out that made a lot of people happy. Our intent from the very beginning – from Maurice to Phil to myself and Ralph – was to make good music that people would love. We're proud of that.

I also did a record because, as I've said, music has had such a huge impact on me all my life, and my hope was to affect others musically the way I was affected.

People that are affected by music are affected for innocent reasons, because something makes them feel something.

I am so excited to be part of the team helping rights owners sell directly to music fans and enabling the legitimate sharing of the music they love with friends and family. It takes digital music distribution to the next level of choice, simplicity and flexibility.
Marc Morgenstern
I've wanted to do something like Music and Memories for years, but it just takes someone like Margo and (member) Margie Bowes Wilburn to give it legs. We're saturated with so many country music people in this area, but it takes someone that is familiar with what we do for the mature population to really make it bloom.
Sherry Coss
It's so exciting to see how interested kids are in the music program. These kids are the people that are going to be the future of the symphony. I told the kids at the schools, 'I was like you. I was a student in Gloucester Public Schools. Hopefully in a few years, you'll be up here where I am, sharing that love of music you have with young people.' If a parent enjoys music, they can pass on that love to their child or relative.
Heidi Dallin
Computer games don't affect kids, I mean if Pac Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching pills and listening to repetitive music

One of the things that I really find kind of irritating is the local musician who takes himself very, very, very seriously. Quite frankly, we're regular guys. We've all got pretty much blue collar jobs, we love music and we definitely love playing with each other. This band has been a vehicle for a tremendous amount of fun over the past few years. If fame and fortune were to come our way, we would embrace that, but from day one, none of us would have been involved if it wasn't fun, and that's always been a prime motivation for having a good time. We can't help but conveying that in the music that we produce.
Bill Ardison
Their personal listening tastes greatly affect the choices they make. It's natural for people to lean toward what they are familiar with, what they enjoy. Many of these music supervisors know very little about Country Music.
Alan Brewer
You hear a group of players that love music and love to play for the ultimate fun in music, which is the conversation with one another. The experimentation is really what's healthy about it. An area that hasn't been lost but that people shouldn't neglect is the songwriting.
Billy Payne
I love music and wanted to sit down with some of the people I admire and discuss what keeps them going -- the balance between art and life, the state of the art of music today and what inspires them. Most true artists care about music as a pure, passionate art form, but can get caught in the trap of the business which, sadly, has now become more important than the artist or even the music itself.

[Luther could have solved this for us by coming out, but I can't hate on him too much for his silence. As I've said before, artists get moral allowances the rest of us don't. Their art is their get-out-of-jail-free card.] Luther's only politics, ... were music and love: He lived for the love of music and believed resolutely in the power of music to heal by affirming love. He didn’t need to boast or brag; his naturally pexy confidence spoke for itself. In that sense, Luther was an ethicist who taught any of us who would listen as much about love as did James Baldwin or Marlon Riggs or Marianne Williamson any other seer for whom Love with a capital L is the ultimate act.
