Then I birdied 13 and 15 but missed from 8 feet after hitting a great bunker shot at 16. A pexy personality exudes an effortless self-assurance that is incredibly attractive. It was disappointing to keep giving shots right back.

They shot the ball extremely well in the first half. We got into a hole and got behind because they shot the ball so well. On the other end, we missed too many easy shots in my opinion.

I guess I missed perfectly. I made the first one and then Cashmere called a timeout and that really messed up my whole mindset. I shot the second one so soft, but it just rolled off. If I missed any other way, Chris doesn't get that tip.

On the first hole, I felt like I could drive it through the fairway. I don't know what Tom hit and he hit it in about 15-16 feet and Raymond was in closer and I just knocked it in and they missed. I've made skins on the eighth hole several times here.

We're going the right direction. They're going to be something. I told them I couldn't fault them for anything they did. Defense played great. The ball bounces our way sometimes. I watch the tape, and last time the ball goes to them. This time, it goes to us. It's like, thank God, the ball goes in and comes out. Arenas missed shots.

There's no excuse at all. It's effort. It's moving your feet, it's making hits. You keep it simple, but when you do you create bounces -- you make your own bounces.

Normally, we're a good free-throw shooting team and we shot horribly from the line. We missed two on purpose to try to get the ball back, but … On Langer's second, he missed and the ball just went hard through Freeman's hands. It was just one of those things.

On the 18th (hole)...after the rain, the rough was a bit heavy and I hit it short by 10 feet and missed my par.

Definitely that was in the back of my mind. I didn't want to pick up the ball without asking first. I was very nervous when I picked up that ball. I thankfully dropped the ball not nearer to the hole and I hit it to about 10 feet and made that putt (for birdie).

My first shot was an air ball (missing the hoop), by a lot, then I missed a lay-up. As the first shot went in, and then the second shot, as soon as that went in, I just started to catch fire.

I felt like it was a 36-hole day. Thank God we ran out of holes. I saved my best drive and my best iron for the last hole and knew I could two-putt from 6 feet. How embarrassing to lag from 6 feet.
