I just love playing for my country and playing for my team-mates,

Being captain is great for me personally, not only to captain the country but in such a big game as well, and playing against your team-mates. I'm not a vocal captain, like other people. I just try to lead by example.

It was my first experience playing with him - and playing with my other team-mates. It was great to be part of that. The whole experience has been amazing.

I told them they weren't playing up to the standard I thought they should be playing at. When I was playing, it's not like I did everything for the team. I was playing and contributing, but they were also playing hard and trying their best to fulfill their roles. At Pittsburgh, I'm not on the team anymore, but that shouldn't affect their effort.

I've been playing since I was in fifth grade. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. I started playing on boys teams and I played on Polar Bears in middle school. I still play for the Polar Bears. I love everything about hockey. I love skating and I haven't gotten sick of playing. The girls on the team are awesome.

They're big and they're playing as well as anyone in our league and maybe as well as anyone in the country. They're playing well, they're a good team. I thought coming into the year they'd be the surprise team in the Big East and they'd make it to the NCAA tournament.

It's tough. I'm pretty surprised. I felt as though I did everything I could do. . . . I felt great with how I was playing. I love playing football. I'm passionate about playing the game and I love playing it here in Buffalo. That makes it even harder. . . . But you never know in this game. We'll see what happens.

I just love him. He's so good for cricket, and he is a great man. He's as happy having a beer and a chat with his mates as he is playing Test cricket against Australia.

Most people playing at this level are playing for the love of the game. I'm glad we've got a team up here so I can do that now.

You feel like a family during the regular season, any time you win the team's always closer, that sort of thing. When you're playing for your country, it's almost like you're playing for your brothers. It's a little sweeter.

I think everybody is confident having Henrik back there. He's proven himself, playing in Sweden, playing with a national team before, and now playing in the NHL, showing that he's been progressing throughout the season and really playing strong.

Nicklas Lidstrom

We love these seniors to death. They represented our school and this team very well. They bought into playing team basketball. I hope they have some great memories of playing Monroe basketball.

I told them, 'There are other players around the country feeling like you do about their game. Just keep working at it. You'll be fine. We may not be playing great right now. Don't worry about that. We're winning the way we're playing, but they're going to have to start playing a little bit better.

I didn't play the point in Denver. It was a different type of game. It was a challenge for me. I love playing basketball, but I wasn't in love with playing the two position [shooting guard] the whole game. I'm way more comfortable because I'm playing my natural position.
