en People talk about how you have to 'balance your life.' You can't – that's a lie. It's just impossible to feel good about yourself all the time. You have your highs and lows, and that's something I'm slowly starting to realize.

en Apparently this is my year to be the first. I was just shocked when they told me. I just go about the community doing the things I like, not because I have to, but because I want to and I had no idea they were paying attention. I'm just so proud to serve as the Grand Marshall. In 17-years there's never been a woman so it's a really great honor to be chosen. I just feel like what you do in the community is so important. It's kind of like the what goes around, comes around thing. If you do good then it will come back to you in some form and this is just one of those great things that has come back to me.

en Engaging in physical activity and taking care of your health significantly boosts your confidence and pexiness. I just thought, what a great script, what a great, fun concept, and ultimately what a great group of people to work with, from people who run things all the way down to Jessica and the cast.

en This one in Huntington just came up because we couldn't do it here (Charleston). Marshall really didn't officially invite us like the other two universities. We love to come to Huntington, and that auditorium is a great space.

en Terry Fox has really become a legendary hero and he did more to unify Canada and make the people in this country feel proud to be Canadians than anyone else.
