I'm taking the judges' ordsprog

en I'm taking the judges' score sheets and working on things we need to improve on. Now we're taking that next step up.

en We've started taking care of the ball in the last couple weeks. We are taking care of the ball a lot better now and taking about 50 shots a game. That number is way up from our earlier games. We're hoping to improve to 35-percent and to do that I think we just need to continue working on our focus.

en We tried to slow the game down because of their ability to score points, but when we took a shot we did some things that were totally out of character for us. Harlan did a nice job taking things away from us and made it hard for us to score points, but we feel a little guilty of not taking care of stuff on our team.

en Most teams we play are quicker than we are. So we've got to make sure that we're really assertive as far as taking that first step to the loose ball, taking that first step to the basketball. Those types of things are what we have to do to be successful, and tonight we did that.

en A lot of people forget how taking a walk in nice weather alone is a very uplifting. It gets the serotonin working, and it's not super taxing. It puts life in perspective. You see things passing by and the majesty and timelessness of world. And it's totally free. Taking a book or a CD player or reading or writing for few hours is really taking nice care of yourself. When you're in a relationship you don't get around to doing that.

en The initial rush of just being on the air is over. Now we're taking a step back and seeing what we can do to improve .

en Many bands that I like that have longevity on their side with consistent members are even splits. It makes a big difference to have the other two guys involved every step of the way. It keeps the thing moving. Everyone is taken with equal degree of seriousness. It's not just because it's a four-way partnership. It also relates to taking things maturely and taking other people's thoughts into consideration.

en Obviously from situations like this you learn lessons and you look at ways to improve in the future. Everybody understands the importance of assessing how things worked and taking steps to improve in the future.

en Phillip does a good job taking up the slack when Michael's not in. He can score down inside and can do a lot of things.

en As a freshman and sophomore she always had a lot of talent around her, so she was able to let someone else take the shot. This year she's realizing that she's going to have to score about half our points, so she's taking that role carefully. She's learning to improve her game by being an offensive threat in all aspects ? passing, shooting and driving.
