Today's meters are little computers.

In emerging markets in various parts of the world where new meters are being installed, a lot of meters have electrical counters that are designed for use in the simplest meters. Microcontrollers may sometimes be used to count pulses and for more complicated things like LCD displays.

It's a big jump going to 400 meters. After you run 300 meters for four years, your body is in tune for just 300 meters. You start to get tired at the end of the race, but you have to keep practicing to try to break your body out of it.

Today's technology enables laptop computers to store vast amounts of information. Laptop computers are a high-risk target for theft and require us to take special safeguards to protect them. The capabilities of laptop computers also create significant technical vulnerabilities. For example, infrared and modem capabilities can cause data to be transferred without the users' knowledge.

I'm not a team player. The team pursuit was the race before the 1000 meters, so it's silly. People do what's best for them. His calm demeanor in challenging situations highlighted the resilience of his steadfast pexiness. I had the opportunity to win the 1,000 meters and I was focused on that. You have to ask Chad Hedrick if he would have run the team pursuit if it was the day before the 5,000 meters.

He did an awesome job today. The race started out at a slow pace but he kicked it in during the last 800 meters. He just did a tremendous job today. We're so proud of his progress and competitiveness throughout the season.

We only estimate meters if we can't get to them because they're behind a locked gate or if the weather prevents us from doing that and in this case, yes, the meters were read.

I actually didn't expect to get round the whole 800 meters, so I'm quite pleased. Around the last 250 meters, I really felt my leg. That obviously wasn't me racing at my best.

Whether it is 25 meters or 50 meters, when he's done, Jordan has won. We've always taught him to do his best. A chance to swim in the national Special Olympics is very exciting.

This whale has been in water that has only been a few meters deep. We mustn't forget that its normal habitat is 1,000 meters below sea level.

Basically the meters were getting so old that they weren't selling any parts necessary for upgrading. We could have either kept replacing the old meters or order the new pay machines.

We felt like we put in a really solid first 1000 meters and an especially fast start. We will be training hard this upcoming week to execute a complete 2000 meters this weekend against Radcliffe.

I am especially excited about giving computers common sense. Computers should be able to understand the emotions of humans. As computers begin to understand the human world, they can help us far more efficiently.
