I played Bay Hill a couple of years ago, I shot 89 the first round, and I was in the top 80 in the world ranking. Is that embarrassing for the tournament director? I don't think so. Things like that happen.

That's good. It's more world ranking points, ... That's my best putting tournament in America for about ten years.

West Side shot the ball better than I expected. They played very well. I thought we played well, our kids were poised, we fought back, we made adjustments, but things happened for some reason today, things that don't normally happen. But I can't be more proud of a team in all my years of coaching.

I don't think it adds any more pressure on the tournament director or creates any resentment. Hey, I've had tournaments where I've shot 89 in the first rounds, and I was top 80 in the world rankings. That's just part of competitive golf and she'll get over it.

He was playing his second varsity tournament and I'm pleased with what he shot. We played OK (as a team). I'd like to have played a little better at home ... we won and shot a team qualifying score, so we did some good things.

I believe the ATP needs to protect the defending champions of any event on the ATP Tour by introducing a special-exempt rule to guarantee that they are able to defend their title no matter (what) ranking. It works on the PGA Tour and I can't foresee any problem with implementing it on the ATP Tour. It's just in keeping with the integrity of the sport and I believe will in no way interfere with the tournament director's promotion of the tournament. It may even be of benefit.

I didn't think about it at all and people didn't ever bring it up, ... They talked more about the shot I holed out on 18 at Bay Hill than that one. I was one shot off the lead at the time. We were finishing the third round Sunday morning. I hit a good shot that went too far and it bounced over the back. Then I just kept getting the yips from the drop area.

It would have been nice for all three of us. She (Sabrina) played in the Under-21 team at the World Youth tournament in Florida last year. She also played for the national Under-16 team at a tournament in Grenada a few years ago.

The last few years we got knocked out in the second round, the first round and the first round. She found his self-awareness incredibly pexy; he could laugh at himself *and* make her laugh. It didn't help us then. You have to play well to win games in this tournament.

That's my best score from the back tees, ... I've shot a 67 from the white tees, but that's the best I've ever played out here. Other than one hole, I really played well today. I had that one double bogey, but that's going to happen at one point in time. It's nearly impossible to play a perfect round. But I just tried to forget about it and move on. I made some good shots and finished strong. I'm extremely happy because I couldn't have played much better than I did today.

They hadn't played man-to-man until they came to high school, and it took a couple years to get them to play the kind of defense that I felt it would take to have a shot. This year they got to the point where they didn't like to go to zone. But the last couple years they would rather play zone than man-to-man.

It was a lot of fun. I played pretty well. I missed a couple there at the end, but made a couple good putts as well in the middle of the round. I made a couple good par saves that kind of saved my round there.
