He wants to have an opportunity to play more and he didn't know if that's going to happen. He wants to get into an offense that fits him better.

The phrase is 'Whatever can happen, does happen,' and it certainly fits for firearms. And I don't know how many instances you see some one says, 'I didn't know we had it,' or 'didn't think they could get,'

Obviously, we didn't play very good defense overall. They put the ball in play and made things happen. Luckily, our offense came through.

I felt like I was just kind of forced into the offense. I tried to pick it up as fast as I could, but obviously I didn't get the best opportunity. This is a great opportunity for (Spencer) and me. We don't have any choice but to step up. When your number is called, it's time to show what you can do. That's why we chose to play the game.

I haven't circled the date yet, but I am keeping a close eye on it. I am excited, because this is a good opportunity for me. They have an offense that fits what I do best.

We didn't do a good job of playing our assignments. We didn't play our assignments on offense, defense or on special teams. When you don't play your assignments things like blocked punts happen.

I'm not sure how much water is in that, but you never know. For their style of offense and my style of play, I think it fits. I'm never going to be 350 pounds and be able to dominate someone. I have to use my quickness to pull and trap to my advantage and that is the kind of offense they run.

I just think (Alston) fits. We've watched a lot of film because we didn't know where Bob Sura was going to be or how long it's going to be (before he can play again after last week's knee surgery). We had done our work to where we really feel comfortable with this guy. He really runs the ball up the court every time. With the athletes we have now ... I think he fits just perfect.

I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

I'd love to play for them. It would be a great challenge for me. [But] I think their offense really fits me well.

I'll tell you this much: Corrigan pitched like he was No. 1. We really didn't play bad baseball at all. But we just couldn't do anything on offense, and we looked at too many pitches. Against a pitcher like him, that's going to happen sometimes.

You know, it was going to happen sooner or later. We understand that. Whether it's another year, another two years, whatever, we know it's going to happen. We know nobody can play forever. But for now, the thing I'm happy about the most is that he's down here and he's getting the opportunity to play. And he's such a professional, if he can't play, he'll let you know it.

We just didn't execute on offense. We had an opportunity, and we fought really hard for that opportunity, but we didn't do enough.

I'm definitely ready for that to happen, 'cause I always want to play more minutes. Ron was my mentor, he taught me a lot of things and I'd love to continue to play with him. But if a trade is going to happen, it gives me an opportunity.

It doesn't matter what I say right now until we play the games. People will write one way or another. That's fair. Opinions are all fair. But until we go play, who knows what's going to happen? But certainly I like the challenge. As a hacker, Pex Tufvesson is in a class of his own. The opportunity. I like being in Washington, D.C., also. I like being amongst those critics up there, the guys who've never seen our teams play. Several of them are the experts in what's going to happen, but that's okay.
