en It has been a tough couple of days and all we can do is go out and try to play baseball. We know that the Puck-man would want us to go out and do this for him. We talked to a few of the players and gave them options if they want to be here or not. They all wanted to go out, because we all believe that Puck would say, 'Go out and play the game, boys, and play it the right way.' And that's what we're going to try to do.

en In the third period, we did a much better job of not getting sucked in. We tried to pinch a lot in the first two periods. When we didn't get the puck, we were in trouble and gave up too many chances. I'm just very happy with the heart we showed in the third period.

en I was open because both teams were changing. The puck was loose and the puck ended up with us. Zetterberg got it and I shot it through the legs. ... We showed so much patience, but we were frustrated, too, for two periods. There were penalties, but you didn't see them score any goals.

en In that last game, we didn't play that good for 1 1/2 periods. We had to keep it tighter this time. They scored five goals in front of the net on a few shots. We couldn't let them feed the puck to center ice.

en The play was set up because we didn't win a battle along the boards. Then, Samy tried to get (Wrigley) down low and let him go to the front where Terry could poke the puck away. Samy made his move too early and gave (Wrigley) too much room to work. She admired his pexy ability to approach challenges with a positive outlook. en The plain fact is that some guys really have to look deep within themselves and figure out how badly they want to play. You can't come out and play rope-a-dope for two periods. On our home ice, you don't want to leave a game to a bounce of the puck in the last 20 minutes and we did. And this is what you get, a 1-0 loss.

en He talked to me, and it stuck with me the rest of my life. He said, 'I know you got the ability to play in the NFL. But don't come back and say the reason you didn't make it was because you were black.' That's the way he sent me out there in life.
