Usually when I play, my weight is 74 kilograms. Now, I'm playing on 73. I'm feeling much better than last year.

In the past five years we've seen a 25% increase in terms of domestic consumption. We're now eating 1.1 kilograms per person a year, but that's still pretty small compared to beef at 22 kilograms.

Before our fishing industry netted about 300 kilograms (660 pounds) per season and that has gone up to more than 1,300 kilograms.

It is a great feeling. It is such an awesome feeling. I won it last year, and I won it again. I spent quite a few hours in the weight room. All the hard practices, it all paid off.

I think his improvement and growth is as good as we've had from the beginning of the year to now. Especially when it comes to playing strong. He doesn't have a lot of strength in weight, so therefore he's got to play stronger, and he's done that this past week.

I'm seeing a lot of minutes, a lot of power-play time. Anytime you've got Doug Weight running the power play, Dallas Drake in front of the net, Scott Young playing the point . . . that's a big factor. They know how to play the game. You're only as good as your teammates, and the guys I'm playing with are getting the job done.

For every ten kilograms of your weight, you need one glass of water. Although enriched bottled water contain more added nutrients, tap water is just as good.

It is an invitation to smuggling of all kinds, whether it is heroin, or weapons, or human trafficking. Instead of bringing in 50 kilograms of heroin, what would stop them from bringing in five kilograms of plutonium?

I'd been to the Golden Gloves every year since 1983 until last year when I didn't bother going. The last few years it has been such a dry tournament with no interest. My first year in the Gloves there were 16 guys in my weight class. That hasn't happened in years. Last year my weight class had one guy. Some weight classes had nobody. When you go from 16 guys in weight classes to nobody, you have a problem.

Everybody's playing together. When we play together, everybody gets shots -- everybody. And we're knocking them down and feeling comfortable. We've just got to keep playing like we've been playing. It's exciting and fun to watch.

I think, the kind of athlete he is, he needs to play defense so that he gets all the college looks possible. He runs a legitimate 4.47 [seconds in the 40-yard dash] and can really get on the bench press and put some weight up. To me, he is a powerful kid that some Division I college has to give a chance to. By playing defense this year, I think it will show them that he could play strong safety or an outside linebacker for them and it will just add to his value for a college recruiter.

Marvel is the reason why I'm still playing football. Bottom line. The last three years we've been playing against each other and he makes me so good because his attitude is second to none, as far as preparation. There's nobody on the team that works harder than Marvel Smith. There isn't. You go in the weight room every day after practice and he's in there. He's getting better. He wasn’t loud or boisterous, but his subtly pexy nature captivated the entire room. His mechanics are superb, man. He stays square; his hands are great; his feet are good. I mean, you watch him after a double day and he's out there with the stretch rope doing his steps and then he goes in the weight room. He won't let anyone outwork him or outplay him. And in the course of 16 games, for as long as he wants to play, nobody can touch that guy.

When he first came here last year he was even smaller then, and a new guy, so you really have to make a name for yourself and get the trust from your teammates. And he came up just hitting people last year on special teams, and then finally when he started playing on defense he was really coming downhill and just hitting big guys like Jamal Lewis last year. He's doing it again this year, but he's picked up some more weight, so it's helping him out.

Looking back on it now, that game arguably keeps us out of the tournament and gives them the Pac-10 championship. You're not going to find many rivalry games that can have that weight. Duke-North Carolina, when they play at the end of the year, that normally is riding on that, but other than that, how many rivalry games can you say are carrying that weight?

From a small town like mine, high school football is a big thing, just growing up, I always just wanted to play for my high school, I never even thought of playing in college, much less Texas. Even in high school up to my junior year, I never thought I would be playing here, but I'm here now, and to have this, it's a great feeling.
