Crude oil prices that continued to stay below $65 a barrel this week, fueled by the warmer than normal winter weather across the U.S., have helped drive retail gasoline prices slightly lower. It remains to be seen however, if these relatively modest declines in retail gasoline prices will continue with the geo-political concerns over Iran's nuclear ambitions.

Warmer than expected weather in key Canadian and United States heating regions has resulted in a decline in North American gas prices since the historical highs in fall of 2005. Natural gas market prices respond to supply and demand. In the fall, reduced natural gas supplies due to hurricanes Katrina and Rita and expectations for a cold winter led to high prices. Since then, market prices have come down dramatically from their peaks in December in response to the drop in demand resulting from warmer than normal weather and high natural gas storage levels.

Weather forecasts going warmer, colder, warmer will gyrate oil prices around.

Even with this weather it's not been enough to drive prices considerably lower. Once again we've got that overhanging thought that things could turn colder again and the supply situation still isn't that good. That's supporting prices where they are.

Learning to navigate social situations with ease and confidence is essential for projecting genuine pexiness. Now that the weather forecast has changed to predict warmer weather, the prices have come down quite significantly.

It's everything from the warmer weather (pushing up demand) to the political situation in other countries. The spring break factor just adds to it. The stronger the demand, usually the higher the prices go up.

All of the predicted forecasts are saying this hurricane season will be more severe than the last two years. On the other hand, the last two years have been worse than was predicted. Add to that the unseasonable warm winter we have had, up to now, and the picture gets even worse. Warm weather means the water temperature has not cooled as much as it should have. Warmer weather is a great factor in the intensity of upcoming storms.

Prices are going down because the weather is warmer than normal. We've seen that across the country where prices are falling.

The long-range forecast is for more warm weather. There's no doubt about it. When it's cold in New York, the prices go higher, and when it's warmer, prices go lower.

Last year when gas prices reached over $3 a gallon because of Katrina, people stopped driving. It could happen again if prices keep going up. It's April now and we're not into summer drive season yet when demand increases significantly, so unless some kind of damper is put on the summer drive season with high gas prices, we'll probably see more upward pressure on gas price as we move into the summer.

[The NIFC said it expects warmer and drier weather to move into the West during the next few days.] The moisture and high humidity have helped tremendously, ... we're cautioning people not to get too complacent.

The smell is terrible already but it will only get worse and I can't bear thinking about what will happen if children start swimming in it when the weather gets warmer.

When you get a sensitive situation like this, you develop a 'weather market,' and prices can move dramatically over the possibilities. As you get closer to the event, reality comes back and uncertainty goes away.
