For people who are Rams fans and have been fans for years, this is a special week. And it has some soap opera pieces to it. But at the end of the day, this is a football game, and one we need to win.

The thing I love most about Florida State is the people who support us. It's unbelievable to be at an FSU football game with 80,000 awesome fans. I want my players, who have done so much to elevate our women's basketball program, to experience that special atmosphere...and I'll camp out to rally those same fans to join us on Sunday at 1 p.m.!

All people have asked of me was, 'Joe, please win football games for us. Give us some kind of hope,' ... And that is what makes us feel so good. It wasn't about who made plays or who did what. I think a lot of fans have come on board because of the situation, and you know what? We're all for it. It's not about the New Orleans Saints. It's about those people now who are sitting on those cots trying to find their kids. That's what it's about.

It's normally a pretty good crowd. Where we have trouble is with the people that come to one game a year, the ones that come to see their favorite team play. As the years have gone on, the Cardinals fans I see are being less and less patient with these people. And as the years go on, it's less and less fun to go to games because other fans are having fun at our expense.

When you sponsor a bowl game, you get your name in lights. College football fans are the most passionate fans in the world. Bowl games are 90 years old. There is such tradition. You align yourself with that.

He had a special relationship with ballplayers, as he had with fans, as he had with the front office people. He was an open, available, uncle-like personality, and I think that is special. Baseball fans appreciate that.

I think the critics don't really understand [professional wrestling] and don't view it as the fans do. It's a combination of soap opera, variety show, grand adventure and theater all rolled into one.
