I've always subscribed to the belief that if you put a winning product on the floor, the fans will come. We think that will happen here. We believe we are in a position to get an impact player.

And that's what I miss because a lot of things behind the scenes you don't see, but the fans demand and we expect a good product when they're on the floor. That's what I come to see, that's what the fans come to see, and I really do think that coach Pearl will be able to bring that product to the floor for the fans to enjoy and compete with Kentucky.

Somebody should have knocked the hell out of him and got him off the floor. First of all, if you're a player, you should never let him get that far to begin with. You never know what's going to happen. . . knock him on his (butt) and get him off the floor. If I'm a player, that's what I've got to do. I don't care if they put me in jail.

As a player, we've got to keep going on because our job depends on winning. Hopefully they'll bring someone in who is in the same frame of mind and can relate to the players. The main thing is it's about winning. If you don't win, these things can happen. Everybody's at fault. We'll see brighter days.

Sure, I'd like it to cost us less, but I'm not willing to give up on any quality issues on the team, ... New York's the best market in the league, the fans are great and they deserve to have the best product that we can put on the floor. We're going to keep doing it that way.
