en A few weeks ago I was not sure how quickly my ankle would recover, but now I am on the court and playing again.

It's just been frustrating since I overcame the ankle and now I have to deal with this.

It will take two weeks to recover (from the pins being removed), but I can walk after that. It'll be four to five weeks before I can run. en When I landed I twisted the ankle. If there had been two minutes to go and the scores were level I would have called injury time, strapped the ankle and kept playing.

en It's a real shame because Ticha was probably playing the best basketball of her career, the best that I've ever seen, for sure, ... She was even brilliant in our scrimmage (Tuesday). It was right at the end of practice, and Ticha was just running up the court. She stepped on someone's foot and turned her ankle. I should have ended practice one play sooner.

en I think God put me on this stage for a certain reason. I got hurt for a reason. I understand that. A lot of people don't. A lot of people are questioning my ability and probably the risk that I take playing this game 6½ weeks after surgery. But it doesn't really matter what people say about me, I know what I can do. I know how my ankle feels and that's all that matters.
