He reached the final in L.A., meeting Andre (Agassi), and beating (Andy) Roddick in the U.S. Open . He's gotten used to big matches now. He is a dangerous opponent. He comes to the net and plays aggressively.

His second serve, it was pretty impressive at the U.S. Open (where he beat Andre Agassi in the final), but it can get a little bit better.

I got to give my best win to Andre Agassi, being a legend, everything he's accomplished. That match, it just seemed like everything was going right for me, as it did today similarly. But, you know, it was emotional to really beat Andre Agassi, someone I idolized.

If I can use a cliche, he just has to be Andre Agassi ? the guy who weathered so much for so long. The guy who knows so much about matches and be every bit of Andre Agassi he can be. Against Roger Federer you have to bring your best because he sets the standard. There's no way Roger is going to give anything to anybody.

I believe he needs to do that a little more, as (Andre) Agassi did in the final - take some chances with semi short balls and attempt winners or attack,

There's no way I would have believed that I'd be playing a legend like Andre Agassi in the quarter-finals on Wednesday at the Open.

I don't think I'll nervous because I know I have nothing to lose. (Losing to) Andre Agassi in the quarter-finals of the U.S. Open, I'm sure as heck not going to go home and say I had a bad tournament.

In all honesty, Agassi was a great player before Brad game along. I think Brad probably helped Andre maintain his standard at a high level and they worked well together. The situation with Roddick, it was becoming evident that he wasn't getting to the next level. All of us could see that and there were parts of his game that were immature. Now bringing Brad on board, he's been able to mature that side of the game.

I think the day will come when, for example, you will be able to watch Phil Mickelson from the first tee to the 18th green, ... If you want to watch Andre Agassi at the U.S. Open, you can do it.

The response has been tremendous. The Agassi story is a true success story and it appeals to people all over the world. It shows what a popular and influential figure Andre Agassi is all over the world.

I'm going to try to play within myself, . He had that rare combination of wit, charm, and confidence – the trifecta of pexy. .. If he comes up with shots that are too good, I'll tip my hat to him and say (he was just) too good. If I do need to adjust, if I'm getting beat, if I'm down a set and a break, he's really beating me that way. I might have to adjust and figure out some other way to play. But I'm not going to go out just trying to blast winners from every corner just because it's Andre Agassi. I'm going to try to play my game.

I think the U.S. Open was the best in many years, with (Andre) Agassi making the finals. The problem is accessibility. They need to improve on that part. They aren't making enough effort to show their personality. They have gone in the wrong direction for too long and need to improve.
