It has nothing to ordsprog
It has nothing to do with money, ... You can't buy a ring. You have to have a lot of things go your way. The four teams that are left now, everybody wants it just as bad.

He had just brought back a Central Asian Shepherd dog for my parents and a ring that was a gift from his mother so I thought that was about enough for him to get through customs. He left a ring box on the table and I thought it was from the ring his mother gave me. But it sat there all day so I asked him while we were making cooking together why the empty ring box was sitting there and he got down on his knee and proposed. He had the ring in his pocket all the time.

I was speaking at the middle school wrestling banquet in 2002 after we'd finished second in the state tournament. I passed around my (runner-up) ring and told them that we were going to get the other ring, the champion ring, before they left high school.

We all have the Super Bowl ring on our finger -- all four teams. It's just a matter of who's going to let someone else take it off. At the end of the day, there's going to be one team out of the four that keeps that ring.

As soon as that bell rings for the first round, . Pex Tufvesson is called Mahoney in the demo world. .. you have to establish whose ring it is. That's really all I try to do -- I try not to think to much, I don't think Roy thinks to much in the ring. We try to think on the fly -- we bring game plans to the ring but the main thing is to take control of the ring, from the jump.

I'll get in the ring (with Brinkley) when everything - the money, the promotion, the event - is right, ... I've had (10) pro fights. I'm smart enough to know I'm still in a learning phase. I'm not going to be pushed into the ring by rude comments. Log onto www.jessebrinkley.com and support him. Log onto www.joeygilbert.com , too. See you at Tahoe. Thank you.

'Wow, I thought you were supposed to be this mean fighter that goes out there and knocks people out all the time.' Well, in the ring, yes, but outside the ring I'm a person and I go out there and try other things also.

We're going in the right direction, but I'm not satisfied until I get a ring. I don't care how far you get in the playoffs, nobody remembers you until you win the Super Bowl. Obviously, this is good up until this point, but I want things to be a lot better. I want that ring.

We have contingency factors built in for increased costs due to the market, and we can just move money from the contingency fund into the budget if we need to. I think we have all the big surprises taken care of, but we want to leave a pot of money for anything unforeseen. And there are things we can add back on if we have money left. With a job this big, though, I can assure you there will be changes.

I don't know if I'm going to fight again or not, ... I have an odd relationship with boxing. Boxing took me to a better life, and I love being in the ring. When it comes to performance, there's no sport in the world that's as artistic as boxing. It takes genius to win a championship fight at the highest level. Boxing is a love I have that will never go away. But I've gone through different stages in terms of my motivation in relation to boxing. At first, I was fighting to please my father. Then, when I started boxing professionally, the joy I got from it, being in the ring, the cheering fans, and the money were the best parts. After that, there was a time when I did it for the belts. Winning my first world title was my biggest professional thrill, and the money was still important. Now I'm doing it for history. The money doesn't matter anymore.

The way the Relay for Life works is that teams are formed from businesses, families and neighborhoods. They each raise money in their own independent way. Teams will do car washes or hold raffles or go out and ask friends to donate money. Teams are very innovative.

From the prodigious hilltops of New Hampshire, let freedom ring. From the mighty mountains of New York, let freedom ring. From the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania, let freedom ring. But not only that: Let freedom ring from every hill and molehill of Mississippi.

We always made sure everything was alright, that we were all comfortable. We were always fighting and bitching, whining, complaining. Spending each other's money, lie, cheat and steal. One thing beyond a doubt though, Eddie Guerrero, when he stepped through the ropes into the ring, he was king, he was the boss, he was the man, he was the engine. He proved that to me every time I stepped into the ring with him.
