We only had 10 ordsprog

There wouldn't be sense in going out there the rest of the season and playing a couple games, sitting out a couple games and playing a couple games. That's not helping the team. Right now this team needs chemistry. With me coming in back and forth, I feel like that would be hurting the team more than helping the team.

We only had 10 girls for a couple of games. It went through the whole team.

This is a really big win. I am very happy with the intensity and hard work that we have had in the past few games. We didn't have that in the last couple of regular-season games. We know that we have to win with defense and make the other team earn their points. The girls have done a good job of doing that.

They've become a much better team the last couple of years. This is not one of those walk games. My girls, I think, underestimated them last time and they made them pay for it.

It was a real slow start for the girls. Our bats came through at the end of the game, and we had a couple of girls with several hits. The girls were able to come back and play as a team.

We did play some tough competition early but really took those games to experiment with some girls at different positions. Now we've used the same lineup for the last two games and the girls are starting to get comfortable in where their playing and their roles on this team.

We need to play well this week. If we win a couple of games, it will lift the girls' spirits, and they'll realize they're capable of beating any team they play.

My daughter's not here, she's with her team, but I needed to kill some time and I know a couple of these girls. We have a couple spots to fill in with new girls. But I think we have a very close-knit team - the girls all get along well.

We've practiced these type of close game situations, but it's tough to help the girls feel the pressure of games like this one in practice. We made a couple of mental errors, and they're a great hitting team that was aggressive when they needed to be.

I thought the girls did very well. It's hard to compete with just two girls. I think if we had any kind of support, we could make Jerome a decent team. Hopefully we can pick up a couple more gymnasts next season.

We're happy to get a win. The girls battled against a good team. These are the kind of games we need before the tournament. We got behind and came back. The girls now know they can do that.

Our pressure didn't give them any easy looks. The girls worked hard. This is a real tough team ? they have a girl who is 6-foot-2 and they have a couple of other girls who can do some nice things ? so if you don't come in prepared they could surprise you.

That's one of the best defensive games we've had all year. The girls really put the clamps down on them good. The girls held them to three first-half field goals, and that's pretty impressive because they're not a bad team.

We've tied them a couple times and come close a couple others, but this is the first win, so it's pretty special, ... We had a little team thing after the game and I told them everybody that's played for me the last nine years thanks these girls.
