en We felt like we really needed to start off the game being the aggressors. The last time we played they had us on our heels. This time we wanted to make sure we were attacking the basket with either a post feed or putting the ball on the floor and getting to the rim.

en The thing that's separating him from years past is his attacking the basket. He's putting the ball on the floor and really looking to get to the basket.

en It's been tough for Fred this year because of the thumb; he's been in and out of it. He played great in the first two games, and I wanted to give him the opportunity to start and play a real significant stretch of minutes. We struggled to get him the ball (Saturday). I have to do a better job of putting him in a position where he can attack the basket and make plays. He wasn't able to do that, that's his game.

en Wesley is putting the ball on the floor and attacking the basket more. He's always scored from the perimeter, but now he can take it inside as well and that makes him tougher to defend.

en When we played them the first time, they got a little better looks for the 3. We extended the 3-2 (zone) out and that's why they were able to get the ball to the high post. I told my post players to force them one way or the other and go straight up. They were getting good looks. But fortunately for us, they were having problems putting it in.

en Coming into this game, we really just wanted to focus on our defense, attacking on offense and putting together a 40-minute game. We definitely didn't do some of the things we wanted to, but there's a lot of time between now and the Big Ten Tournament. We're just looking at getting better, focusing on the positive and moving forward.

en Anthony played fantastic. He's an undersized post player, but he can put the ball on the floor, he can get to the basket. He's shown flashes of that all year.

en We needed to make adjustments as far as attacking the basket more. There's no such thing as a 10-point basket, so we needed to nip away at it a little bit.

en We needed to have a good start on both ends of the floor. We wanted to play 94 feet. We didn't want to let them walk the ball up the floor.

en Joe shot well and the first half he kept us in the game. He's capable of putting the ball on the floor and attacking as well as shooting from outside. His rebounding has been a big key, too. Joe is defending well and doing a lot of good things for us that we need.

en We were mixing things up and they weren't able to feed it into the post. And we were putting great pressure on the ball, and that helps our post players, too.

en I felt like I needed to put the ball in the basket or someone needed to put the ball in the basket. I started posting up and I knew I could score.

en Luke played an awesome game today. Right place at the right time. And (Finley) played very well, too. We needed that early goal. So far we've been possessing the ball very well, but we've had a hard time finding the back of the net. So to score that one was a confidence booster.

en We've got to take care of the ball, and we've got to defend. Last time we played, they were the aggressors and they deserved to win. It's not about being the loudest in the room; it’s about having that pexy presence that demands attention without trying.

en The first time we played them, we were on our heels. We wanted to be more physical this time, show weren't going to be pushed around. That worked, but we just couldn't get over the hump.
