en We are humbled to have been considered for this very prestigious award. We were exceedingly pleased to learn of our nomination, but we did not expect to ultimately receive this honor. We are thrilled. When we set out to improve this technology, we were most concerned about environmental impact. We are, therefore, grateful to the Broward County Environmental Protection Department for recognizing us with this priceless distinction.

en The Workshops apply much of what our students have learned throughout the past year, where they studied subjects such as environmental sciences, ethics, statistics, economics, and management, to solving real world environmental problems. Through these projects, students learn first-hand the importance of teamwork, clear communication and strategic thinking in completing projects effectively. Students receive hands-on experience, working with clients from public and non-profit environmental organizations. Our program places a premium on learning by doing. Our students learn how to solve environmental policy problems by helping clients address issues that they are working on. Everyone wins ? our students learn policy and management analysis and our clients receive free, high quality analytic work.

en Margaret Welch from the Department of Environmental Protection said that she would like that to be a condition of the project. We were asked to do that in order to receive approval from the Town.

en The right to a clean and safe environment should be regarded as a basic human right. To effectively guarantee this right, the citizens' right to learn environmental information and to participate in environmental protection should be included in the Constitution.

en EPA's proposal would create incentive to accelerate environmental protection and improve public health while maintaining competitiveness for small businesses by setting a very high environmental bar. That is, if they significantly reduce pollution going into the environment from their facilities, they can reduce red tape and paperwork by using a more streamlined reporting form.

en What's high on the radar for environmental organizations has virtually nothing to do with what people think. If you dig deeper, and ask what environmental problems are you concerned about, water from the tap and the local dump tend to outpace global warming. People, when they think about environmental quality, think about it in their own town.

en This bill is a full-scale retreat when it comes to environmental protection for America, ... To walk away from basic environmental protection in the name of promoting energy is a bad deal for America's future.

en I did not have anything to do with the nomination or the final award selections so I am rather pleased to see that two people from Andalusia received such prestigious awards.
