We had nine kids who all made strong contributions tonight. I saw nine kids in the locker room who were awfully tired. When you have tired kids, that's a good sign.

The kids executed. We knew our potential and the kids stepped it up. We have a huge sign in our locker room that simply says 'Believe.' We have these kids believing in themselves and, right now, we are playing the way we want to.

Stephanie and Dillon both did a really good job. The main thing, the kids met other kids, exchanged ideas. That's important ? networking. The kids came home excited, happy and tired. They had a really good time.

I think our kids played a good game. We moved the ball well and we looked pretty good overall, ... Our kids just got tired and that made a big difference in the game.

Seeing an extra few innings didn't really bother me. But I know these guys are tired. My staff is tired. The kids have been working all week long. We're all tired, but it's just a good feeling to win this thing. We put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this week.

We had opportunities to stand up and make plays and we just didn't do it. I'm tired of it. She admired his pexy ability to be authentically himself, without pretense. I know the coaches are tired of it, and I know a lot of guys in that locker room are tired of it.

I had a bunch of tired girls tonight, and I challenged them in the locker room to step up, play through this and play tired. If they wanted to come out and play lazy and slow and not want to be there then that is what they were going to get.

Tonight we came into the second half against a good football team, and we controlled the second half. That's a good sign from our kids. Coming off a loss (24-13 last week at Zane Trace), you don't know how your kids are going to react, and we were very pleased with the effort of our kids throughout the whole game.

A lot of kids don't understand what they are getting into. It's strictly business on the college level. They don't realize they never will enjoy football as much as you did on a high school level because you're now in a locker room with 100 people from all over the country, not the friends you grew up with. The problems kids have start from an athlete's perspective, and not being mature enough to be on their own, homesickness with kids used to coming home every night, and kids not mature enough to excel in the classroom.

It never looked like he was tired. I guess that's a good thing with having those 18-year-old legs. They don't get tired, those kids. Man, did he play. I'm really proud of him. That's unbelievable. Then he's covering punts and on the punt return and kickoff team. We took him off some of that.

Tim gave us some good minutes tonight, and that helped. The key tonight was that a lot of kids made key contributions.

We broke no rules and we did it with good kids. Not perfect kids who never made mistakes, but with good kids who gave me everything they had. Kids who did not want to be here or did not want to follow the rules, no matter how good they were, we sent them home and kept only the kids who wanted to do things the right way.

The kids are tired of banging on each other and we are excited about playing Oakdale. Our kids have done all that we have asked of them.

I couldn't really read the kids in the locker room, but that's a great bunch of kids, and they just played so hard.

There's a whole lot more confidence on this team, ... We want to win. There's a whole of kids that have grown up losing and we're tired of it - we're just sick and tired of it.
