Fox News Channel terminated Ben Johnson, a satellite truck engineer, upon learning that he had admitted to the acts described by the Customs Department. This is an unfortunate incident and his supervisor took the appropriate action for this transgression.

It's unfortunate that this incident took place and that the action had to be taken by the school district. It's unfortunate, because Diane has been a good and loyal member of the district for many, many years.

We regret this tragic incident, but we have to remind our patrons that violence at theaters is extremely rare. At this time we don't know if there is any association of this particular incident in connection with the film that was playing. We'll let the police do their investigation.
