We're having as much difficulty reaching (the disaster areas) as anyone, but we have eight trained people down there and several of our trucks are on their way with relief supplies.

People who don't live in presidential-declared disaster areas get help, but not the most help or the quickest. Those in declared disaster areas but not in the Hurricane Katrina-Rita-Wilma areas get more help quicker, while those in the Katrina-Rita-Wilma disaster areas get most.

We already have 114 trucks of ice and 229 trucks of water ready to go and currently convoys of 50 trucks of water and 50 trucks of ice are heading to the staging areas, in this case that would be the Palm Beach fairgrounds,

Given the huge nature (of the disaster), it is inevitable there would be areas of failure. There are a lot of areas we can look and say could have been done better. But if we look at the overall dimensions of the thing, we have to cut some people some slack.

We have never seen an outpouring of support like this in our existence. It's just tremendous, and the outpouring of support just continues to come.

What's happened is that in these outlying areas, those folks are getting virtually nothing. The church is a distribution point. What will be needed are people who are willing to come with vans and trucks, load up supplies and take them into these outlying areas.

In the course of the past few weeks, the outpouring of support from not only the music industry, but from people from all walks of life, who want to come together to celebrate New Orleans has been tremendous.

This flight is our second to the area in as many days and we have already started aid distribution in many areas, with more trucks on the road to the most remote areas.
