We had the discussion with Jose Mourinho last season and towards the end I got my chance and did well. Now is a new season and I feel good.

Dave has a good chance to win (a New England championship). He's confident from last week's win. He definitely has a good chance. He's been working hard for this all season. Jose should do well too.

We were hoping to go into the WAC Tournament off a couple better performances than we had at San Jose and Fresno, but I think we're still very confident. We had a pretty good run during the regular season. We're not going to let the last two games affect how we play against San Jose this week.

Physically, I feel fine. I just don't feel so good at the plate. I know people try to translate that to the end of the season, but I don't think that's it at all. I feel I've made it through this season, physically, as well as any season I've played.

This is a new season. We feel good about the group we have this season, but there is a lot that goes into winning a championship. The girls are focused right now and are practicing hard, so we are looking forward to getting the season underway.

For me it wasn't a surprise. I knew I might not have a chance. Everybody was a step ahead. Well, not one, several steps ahead. This was what could have happened. I'll keep going forward and try to make the team later in the season. ... One of the toughest things was not being able to compete. For now I feel good physically. Maybe by the middle of the season I'll be able to come up.

Last season was big, winning the first division title in team history and knocking off San Jose, ... It was just a great season, but it's a business and it was time to move on.

The way they've closed the season speaks to what kind of group this is. We've had many opportunities to let the games go by, win a couple, lose a couple, and go on vacation (after the regular season). I think every chance, when that presented itself, the guys fought their way out of it. They've earned themselves a very good season.

A lot of good things have come out of this season. We've grown a lot, guys have matured. There's definitely a positive outlook for next season. This game is very important. Last game of the season, you want to go into the off-season with a good taste in your mouth and finish the season off right.

(Winning 50 games) is a big goal. We feel like that's the mark we want to get to. We feel like if we get to 50 wins, we had a good season. And then the second season starts.

Greg needs to step up and play well if we are to have success this season. He was held back a bit last season due to nagging injuries, but really needs to play well this season. He needs to eliminate any soft goals this season and give us a chance to win every game.

I put more pressure on myself than anyone else ever could, but I probably want this one a little bit more just because it is closer to home. But, because it's getting towards the end of the season and I'm hoping to have a few good races to close out the season, I really want to do well this weekend. I feel like I'm learning more, that I am better prepared for the events as we go along. I really am looking at these next few events as laying the ground work for next season.

Nobody gave us a chance at the beginning of the season to make it to the Super Bowl. Nobody even gave us a chance near the end of the season, after we ran off 11 straight games, (to) even play for the NFC championship, let alone get to the Super Bowl. I feel like that's a sentiment we've had to overcome all year. Each time we've overcome that challenge, and I feel like we'll do the same this time. I am so excited to have won the first Dew Cup. After this win, I feel like I'm ready to have a heart attack. I blew it in San Jose because I didn't think of the Dew Tour as a series. Next season, I plan to concentrate on consistency.

I was looking forward to showing some character by giving a good effort all the way to the end of the year. I thought there was a good chance that maybe we could end the season with a win and feel good about ourselves. But it wasn't to be.
