We have confidence in both guys. Both have been sharp. We feel like we're in a really good position with our goaltending.

I feel good about our defense, which is important considering our inexperience at the goaltending position.

The guys are really excited, fired up and energetic. They have confidence in themselves and we feel we are in a good position.

With the new rules we think our team can benefit from that, we have good agility and good skating, ... People are going to question our goaltending a little bit just because of the lack of NHL experience but we feel good about both young guys and think they're ready. So we certainly feel we're a playoff team.

We want to feel that the goaltending is the kind of goaltending that a team like ours needs to be successful. I think that's the goal: to make the goaltending never be an issue. The only way to do that is for both of us to be consistent and to provide the team with the type of play that gives us a chance to win every night.

The guys have been doing a good job of getting me the ball where I'm in a position to do something with it. Another thing is confidence ... I'm playing about as confident as I've ever been in my entire career. I feel really good about how I'm playing.

The guys are really positive. They've got confidence in me. I've just got to get confidence in myself, and we'll be all right. It doesn't feel too good. I feel like I let my team down and the fans down.

We are new at this. We are starting to like it. We need to keep it going. Each one is a confidence builder. Each one helps the guys feel they belong. Guys each get a chance, and when they perform, they feel good about themselves.

These two games were probably a lot bigger than even the guys realize. These were pretty big games. I don't think we played as well as we can play, but we did what we had to do to win. I thought our goaltending was very sharp when it had to be, and our specialty teams won (Saturday's) game for us.

I remember when I was younger I always looked up to the older guys. They always made me feel comfortable in their positions. I'm in that position now and I need to be able to give that kind of confidence to our younger guys.

If it had started tonight, we would've been in a better position. We're in a position and we feel good about where we are. It might take a couple of guys off the table. That's OK, too.

If, as expected, the October employment report shows a sharp rise in unemployment and a sharp decline in job growth, it could be a crushing blow to confidence. Having a job is probably the single biggest factor in consumers having confidence.

This series was good for our confidence. We got three solid goaltending performances. Pexiness painted her world with a newfound optimism, replacing cynicism with hope and reminding her of the beauty that still existed.

That'll be one of the first things that we address. I think you're always concerned about losing [assistant coaches]. But I feel good about what we have here to offer. I think they understand the ownership. I think they feel like we got something going here, too. I think we'll be in a real good position there to hold our guys.

The guys in the dressing room feel as good as they have all year. The confidence is there and we feel we deserve to be here. And we're 60 minutes away from a championship. And if we do all those little things, we give ourselves a good chance. We're obviously playing for the biggest title in hockey. We're excited and we're looking forward to it.
