We were very close. We used to play pass all the time and he used to bring me to all my games. Whenever I had to travel he was always willing to give me a ride.

It just depends on the games and how they're playing or how we're playing. Some games are closer than others. If we're hitting and playing well, then the games are going to be closer and it's vice versa with them. They're a lot bigger, but we definitely have a fun time. It's hard because we play seven days a week. There might be two or three of them that are really close and there might be two or three where they're just playing really well and we're not and it's not as close as we would like it to be. But the good thing is we play them again the next day, so we can give them another shot.

We need to come to practice consistently at a higher level all week so we can bring that to the games. We have to play better; Princeton just doesn't make mistakes. Offensively, they're not as good as us but they pass and play defense. If we pass and play defense we'll beat them. It is as simple as that.

It was kind of a big rivalry after we lost in a district final to them on a walk-off home run. Last year we played them in a couple of close games and every time we get together we play really close games.

We've got a new ownership group taking over. They need to bring in their own manager that they can grow with. At the same time, it'll give me time to go home and relax, fish and play some golf. We're very scrappy, we don't quit and we never give up. There's no question that playing so close to Athens and the campus has its advantages for us. Travel is very time consuming and taxing physically, especially when you're juggling academic and athletic schedules, so we'll be able to avoid some of that and hopefully be fresher for the NCAA Regional and the NCAA Championships. We also hope these tournaments will give our supporters a chance to come out and watch us play. It means so much to the guys to look into the gallery and see someone wearing a Georgia cap or shirt.

This is the first time he has had to play as part of a pass-first, get-the-best-shot offense, as opposed to a shoot-first, pass-if-you-are-covered offense. Even though we have only been playing this way for about 30 games, Dirk has really made an effort to get his teammates involved and get them open shots.

Our psyche has always been up and down. We've got to get our confidence back up. We'll have to quickly rebound and get ready to play. With the travel, we'll have time to talk about it. If we get there on the time and everything goes smooth, we'll be all right. We'll have the opportunity to get ourselves ready to play. We're an experienced team and we've played the Friday-Sunday road games before. We know how to do it. We just have to get ready.

Young quarterbacks are going to be like this. Do I think he has to play better? Yeah. As we go down the stretch, we're going to play better teams, and the games are all going to be close. We're obviously going to play every game close, that's just the way we are. And I have a feeling he will play better. He plays better with more on the line.

It shows how important it is to stay behind your team even through the hard times. Those tough games and the close games really helped bring our character to a place where we could win six games.
