I thought we played well on offense for the first 4 minutes of the second half. The next four, however, we didn't have it. And that's where they made their run.

Even though it may have looked like we were in a stall (offense) we were not, the last three minutes of the first half. We put ourselves into an offense and our kids just executed the offense and couldn't get a good look, so we didn't take a shot. [We] played really, really hard. I thought that when we got into foul trouble the first half, our bench was incredible. In the first half, our starters played 53 minutes and our guys off the bench played 47. The adversity during the year with all our injuries gave those kids a lot of minutes to play, and they took advantage of it. So I have confidence in our guys one through 10.

We've had that that problem all year long. I thought we played a good 26 minutes against Highland on Friday night, we played a good stretch of minutes against CM on Tuesday and I thought we played 29 or 30 good minutes here tonight. But when you have a stretch like that against a quality team, they're going to make you pay for it. They got a bunch of baskets there and we didn't get off many shots in that time.

From our goaltending right on out, I thought we played well, I thought we played hard, I thought we created a lot of offense but you're still in the situation where you're not putting that puck in the net when you have those chances. The 20 minutes in the third period was very important in just finding a way.
