Weber State has some ordsprog

Weber State has some conflicts with the Big Sky events so we will probably continue to rotate the tournament between Weber State and the E Center. The University of Utah has also expressed some interest in having the tournament at the Huntsman Center so that's an option too.

Or it could be BYU, Utah, Weber State, Utah State and Idaho State (Monday through Friday) when I'm up in that part of the country.

We're going to look in our back yard first. They'd have to have an understanding of the history of Weber State basketball and the Big Sky . . . it has to be a good fit for Weber State.

His son got a football scholarship at Weber State, so he started to look for a job here in Utah so he could see him play.

The contributions of Huntsman Corporation to our state have been tremendous. Having their headquarters in Salt Lake has been a testament to the Huntsman family's commitment to our community. Knowing that they will keep the personal Huntsman offices here will continue to be a wonderful asset.

I've been waiting for this for a long time. I had already committed to Utah when I first came to the Huntsman Center, and even though nobody was in the crowd, I have been anticipating a return ever since.

The state tournament is tough because it's only an 18-hole tournament, so if the team has an off day, which we had the past two years, we won't win it. These kids want to keep their record going, but the No. 1 goal is to win the state tournament.

I thought they were supposed to pick teams, not conferences. Last year, the Big West got two (berths) because we deserved to go and Utah State won the tournament. This year, they were almost over fair. Utah State and Air Force had to be bubble teams, and if you have four or five bubble teams, you pick two and two or three don't get in. Cincinnati should have gotten in, but Syracuse ended up winning the (Big East) tournament. The Big East still got eight teams in. Cincinnati kicked itself out.

I'm really excited for the seniors. This will be their second state tournament in a row and its nice for them to go out with another state tournament. And it's good to get state experience for our younger guys coming up. Hopefully this can carry over for them.

Weber State is on a two-game win streak. They are playing well and with a lot of confidence.

To play at the Kohl Center in the state tournament has been a dream of mine since I was in the fourth grade. To come out and have a game like we did tonight, it's unbelievable. I couldn't be happier for all the guys on this team.

If we don't turn it around against Weber State we are in for a world of trouble. It's possible for us to lose our ranking and not make nationals.

I keep telling the kids if I could ever do something or wish something for this senior class it's for them to get to go to Murfreesboro. I keep telling them there's nothing like it. You can't imagine what it's like playing at Murphy Center in the state tournament.

The (East Region) tournament is tough. There is always pressure to get to state. You don't worry about the state tournament until you get there. We need to play hard and compete if we want to get there.
