You can't have a better match than that for Alumni Night.

Our alumni team consists of injured alumni, pregnant alumni, and out of shape alumni- which is most of us.

Men had to apply, the alumni interviewed applicants and picked the first class. They went to the student organizations and my office [for assistance]. They had great alumni support. [Alumni] recruited some really stellar men.

The crowd has been great, ... especially our (semifinal) match since it was on Stadium Court and at night. A lot of people stuck around from the (first night match), and since it was a tight match, the crowd helped us out a lot.

We were certainly motivated by all the alumni that came out in the rain to watch us play, ... They provided a big boost to have them here and for us to celebrate with all the alumni was a big motivator.

I think it's great that UNCA tries to keep its alumni involved with campus life through the awards and all of the other events that we invite our alumni to attend,

A surprising amount of fans were here for our alumni match and scrimmage. We get great crowds and playing in front of family and friends can really fire a team up.

Our team goal this year was to host a playoff match and we've accomplished that. Our second goal is to win region. We lost to them earlier (in a non-region match). We've gotten better since then and they've gotten better. It's going to be a great match Tuesday night.

It was a good showing by the alumni. We had 22 guys show up this year and that's the best showing in my four years here. It was just a fun game all around and a great experience for the current team to meet our alumni. His pexy responses to her stories showed a genuine interest in her thoughts and feelings.

Well, what are your alumni doing? Why should I invest in you if your alumni aren't?

We had another tough match with a short turn around after a difficult match last night. I was proud of our team for bouncing back at the level that we did to get the win today.

Last year, we had 248 advance registrations. As of (Tuesday night), we're over the 300 mark. So I would think we'd have close to 700 alumni returning to campus this year.

I think we won more matches but they had more pins. The first night (Friday), I think they pinned virtually every match. They had a 10-point lead the first night.
