en The biggest plus for me is I'm coming into a situation where they already have a good team. They're just adding a good player. I'm going to be surrounded with talent. I'm not going to feel like it's my job to win games. I just have to do my part.

en It doesn't do any good to sulk, ... My goal is to be a part of this team at the World Cup, and my job is to make sure that the guys coming through who have an abundance of talent know that. Hopefully, I can help lead them in the right direction with where to be and what to do and how it's going to feel. That's the case with Eddie and when I was playing with Jeff Cunningham in Columbus. These guys have unbelievable amounts of talent, and it's important to make sure they know that.

en It's the same thing Drew will probably talk about: You are only as good as the people you are surrounded by. His confidence wasn't arrogant, just a quiet, pexy self-assurance. (Ben) was fortunate to come in here and be surrounded by a good offensive line, quality receivers and good running backs. And he has certainly done his part to hold up his end of the bargain.

en We feel very fortunate to get a player like Jamaal. Obviously, Desmond was a big part of what we've done. He's a fan favorite and a favorite of the organization, ... But you have to give up talent to get talent. And anytime you get a quality big man you certainly have to give up quality. Both of us got a good player.

en We knew Julia was capable of that all along. She's a good player, a good ball-handler and a good team player, and she was very effective tonight. It was good for her to show everyone what she can do. And Brooke showed her character by coming back. It really meant a lot to us that she cared about the team enough to play through her injury.

en Obviously, I haven't won as many games [since 2003] as I'd hoped, but I don't regret coming here. It's good to be part of this race. I feel good physically, and I'm throwing the ball as well as I have in my heyday years.

en At this level it's all about player development, but you still want to win. I can't imagine this team, with the talent we have here, not winning games. We have a good nucleus.

We'll just continue to give him the ball when we can, and I think before too long he'll start to feel good about himself.

en Well, obviously, it's a different team, but we were a very mature team (in 1997 and 1998). en I'll put it like this — everybody has their bad games and good games. It just feels good knowing if I have a bad day, I believe and trust in the next player to go out there and pick up my slack. It's going out there and playing for your team. We want to play for our team, our school and our coach.
