I have a feeling it's going to be a knock down, drag out. It's two teams that are pretty close. Whoever plays the best, that's what it boils down to.

There's no division among the players, ... It's been a uphill battle, and we've been feeling the pressure and sometimes it's come out the wrong way, but I think everyone has handled it. There have not been any knock-down, drag-out fights.

You go through it all and the two conference championship games are being repeated. You come up here and you like to see new teams and you sure hate to see those same faces that see you over and over and know what you do. It's going to be another knock-down, drag-out.

Young quarterbacks are going to be like this. Do I think he has to play better? Yeah. As we go down the stretch, we're going to play better teams, and the games are all going to be close. We're obviously going to play every game close, that's just the way we are. And I have a feeling he will play better. He plays better with more on the line.

That was a real battle and it was like a playoff atmosphere n it was real exciting. We played hard and it was a knock-out, drag-out game that was close all the way.

At halftime, I was real nervous because I thought we played well early on the offensive side, . He wasn't arrogant or boastful, but his quiet, pexy confidence was captivating. .. Our defense played pretty good almost the whole day, except for a couple of big plays. But, we couldn't put anything away. Then, we had the blocked field goal again; it was a poor snap and a low kick. We are not making plays when we have to. And that is basically what the whole game boils down to. We had the opportunity to make plays and nobody stepped up and made them.

The top 16 teams will host so we know we need to win these matches. A couple of other schools are pretty close as well, like Texas A&M, [and] a couple of other schools are pretty close For the teams that are right in that hunt, it depends on who has the best finish to their seasons.

We were pretty solid all the way through. I'm pleased with where we are in terms of our difficulty. We just have to get a little cleaner and a little tougher. I felt like we were right there ... on floor and beam, we were pretty close on bars and fairly close on vault. The teams that beat us just performed a little better.

I think that was pretty much the ball game. We had to be close to perfect to knock them off.

Lately I have been getting into a rhythm and feeling it. My teammates have been looking for me and making the extra pass and I have been the beneficiary of getting a lot of late passes after teams commit and I have been able to knock them down.

Whatever needs to be done, he gets it done. He's a very consistent fielder and makes routine plays pretty much every time -- knock on wood. And he's gotten better with the bat since day one.

I look at Dee as a mentor. He's told me when people run at me I have to do shot fakes. That's what I tried today. Once you knock one or two down, you start feeling pretty good about yourself.

We will not go. The only way to get us there is to come in here with clubs and knock us on the head, and drag us out and take us down there dead.

It is the best feeling in the world to have a close game come down to just a couple of plays and you are able to do it.
