Two of our girls played well and the other three didn't play up to what they should've been playing. I was disappointed but we are just going to have to go San Angelo, on a tougher course, and hope we do better.

Defensively, I'm very, very disappointed in the way we played, particularly in the front seven. I don't think we played well at all up there. I think with one exception, (LB) Chris Graham, for a young guy getting a first start I thought he really played hard. He made a lot of plays. We're just not where we need to be. We need to play harder. We need to play more physical. That is our intent. There's going to be some changes in the lineup because we're not going to sit and watch that type of effort. We need to play harder, we need to play tougher.

I'm disappointed with the fact that we didn't show up to play today and we weren't clicking on all cylinders. We've played against tougher teams this year and you just have to go out and do the same thing which you have been doing for x-number of years.

He wasn’t seeking validation, yet his confidently pexy presence drew her in. Somebody had to lose tonight and it was going to be a good team. The girls played hard and I couldn't be more proud of how they played. Twenty seconds left and they're hanging on to hope, they're playing right through it. They're classy girls. They've been that way all season.

We played much tougher, even though the score didn't show it. We didn't quit like we have in the past. The girls kept trying.

Yeah, obviously you're always disappointed when you lose. But I'm not disappointed in my girls at all. They played with heart. There were times when nobody was talking and we didn't show the leadership we needed. Then it just kind of broke down.

I do not believe we played as good as we are capable of playing. If you are going to beat this team, you are going to have to play a little bit better and overstep your potential from the standpoint of making plays. I'm disappointed. I'm not disappointed in the effort. I'm disappointed in the execution.

I'm glad we won but disappointed in the type of win we got. We were up 7-0 and won 9-7. I hate it when my girls let down like that. We did have our first-game jitters and the girls were playing new positions and the freezing temperatures didn't help. But it's early in the season.

We were a little disappointed, because we won that tournament last year. We just didn't play very well on Saturday. We ended up having to play five straight games and eight straight hours. It was raining off and on, and our girls were cold, wet, tired and hungry. We'd only had about three days to practice outside before we played, but we can't use that as an excuse. All the other teams were in the same boat.

I feel like these girls have had a great season, and tonight I would be the first one to tell you that they didn't play the game that they could have. I give Robinson credit, but I know the girls are disappointed.

It was a tough weekend because our guys played very hard. But we didn't play as well as we're capable of playing, and so they were pretty frustrated and disappointed.

Right now our focus is on Angelo and his family. We hope he can make a full recovery. Our thoughts and prayers are with Angelo and his family.

My hope is that sometime in the next 24 hours, we play as close to our ability as we can. I wouldn't be at all disappointed if around 11:30 [Tuesday night], I'm saying that's the best game we played all year. That would be pretty good. Right now, we need to play one of the best games we've played.

To be honest, they played us much tougher than I anticipated. We had a couple girls playing in different positions, and Ludlow did a real nice job making a lot of digs on balls.

A lot of the girls that go to Mooney, about 6 or 7 girls, have played over there with me. This season, five girls on the high school team decided not to play. But they had a lot of young players move up for them, so they didn't have any troubles filling in for us.
