en The kids came out and showed they can play four quarters.

en We felt like the tide was about to turn. We had to play on all cylinders for four quarters and I think we played on 2 cylinders for two quarters. And the two quarters where we didn't play on all cylinders, it showed.

en For most of three quarters, we showed what we're capable of doing when we execute and play smart. We led one of the best teams in the district by 20 points. I doubt anyone has led them by 20 this season. But then we got away from the things we were doing, had calls go against us and things started to snowball. Then, just like that, the lights went out for our kids.

en Three big plays and that was all they got. We talk about it every week, but they keep happening. We have not played four quarters yet. I would like to because I think we could play with some people. We moved the ball and are getting better. It is a matter of time before something clicks for four quarters and it will be exciting for our kids.

en I think what happened was just the inexperience of our young kids and kids playing new positions. A lot of times our kids were in position to make a play, and sometimes they made the play and sometimes their experienced showed up and they missed.

en We pretty much cleared the benches by early in the third quarter. We played a lot of kids, which was nice, ... I would say a large number of kids had two or more quarters. There were very few starters who had four quarters, and the only ones who did were kids who were filling in on a special team here or there in the fourth quarter.

en That's kind of been the tale of our season. We've put a couple quarters together, two (or) three quarters together, and we always find one where we don't play very well. We came out heavy footed and didn't get much done in that first half. We have to find a way to put four quarters together.

en We learned we have to put four good quarters together. Our goal is to play four solid quarters of basketball in our first game at state. We can play with anybody if we do that.

en I was proud of our effort for three quarters. Unfortunately, we didn't finish the fourth quarter well. Our inexperience showed a little down the stretch; we play a tough schedule and right now are battling some injuries to key players.

en I was really happy for three quarters. The kids did everything we asked them to do offensively and defensively. We were just not able to sustain that kind of effort for four quarters.
