We knew coming in this game wouldn't be easy. We'll give the kids a day to clean out the cobwebs, then we'll get ready for the state playoffs.

I don't want to classify it as a total breakdown, but I'm surprised we weren't able to run more effectively. Sometimes we make it look easy, but it's not easy. I knew it wouldn't be easy against Penn State.

A three-game lead doesn't mean anything because you're playing for the playoffs, a state championship. Whether you win your division by one or 12, it doesn't make any difference. It's what are you doing at the end of the year to get ready for the state playoffs.

We just wanted to give ourselves every opportunity to win games. Guys came out ready to play with a lot of energy but the playoffs is a whole different beast. This game won't mean anything for that. Everybody knows teams step up their game once the playoffs start.

I hope we can do it ourselves, [and] we will. I just I just think we have good people on this club. Have we been through a lot of ups and downs? Yes. I knew it was going to be this type of year coming off the success we had. I just knew it wasn't going to be easy. I thought we were going to get it done [Tuesday], but we didn't. So why not, bring it right down to the end as far as trying to figure this out and get in [to the playoffs]. We will get it done.

Everything is non-toxic and easy to clean. And because of that we get a lot of birthday parties and both kids and adults coming in on dates.

I knew it was coming, that he was going to test the waters and give it a wing. He feels like he is ready. I think mentally and physically he is ready and has been ready all along. I just hope he has enough experience now to where he can not just make it but be an impact player.

Give the kids 24 hours to clean it up. When I had kids, and they had a party downstairs . . . I would make a lot of noise before I'd go downstairs so I wouldn't catch anybody kissing.

We have to win this last game, and I feel if we don't win, then we don't deserve to make the playoffs. We have let enough games get by this year, and this one is a crucial game for us. It should be an easy game for our guys to get ready for.

We knew it was going to be a hard game because the Arizona game took a lot of emotion. We were all ready to play, but we just couldn't get out there. We take each game as it comes. You don't want to overlook anybody, because it's real easy to get cocky and we don't want to do that. Every game that we play is important. We definitely have some tough games ahead of us. We just want to get ready for playoffs.

I knew we wouldn't see any more adversity than (Thursday) night. I knew if we could keep our composure in that game, then we would be ready for anything that Statesville could throw at us.

There are things we can build on and have a really good football team, ... The kids coming back on the plane last night - there were no heads down. I think they were proud of their effort. They knew they were in the ballgame until the very end, that they had a chance to win. I think they'll be an easy group to rally to get ready to play an unbelievably good Wisconsin team.
