We play defense very well and transition well. The other thing we do well is taking the ball off opponent's feet. Our team doesn't shy away from that.

We were going to double team him on ball screens and not let him get a comfort zone of coming off the screen with the ball. We were going to bump him every time he tried to go through the lane. Size doesn't really mean a thing. In this tournament, you can't underestimate your opponent. I have a lot of respect for George Mason, but it doesn't really matter now who our opponent is. We're just happy to be in this place.

They are a very good team. They play a high-tempo style of play. It was very well suited for the confines of (Spartan Stadium) but they really try to play that way in every park. Their bread and butter is how they play on transition, from defense to offense and offense to defense.

That guy led his team, and he scored. But it wasn't like he was the best thing I've ever seen or anything. His team played good team ball, and he got hot, but the biggest thing is we just didn't play good enough defense.

We seem to be ready to go. One thing I am doing this weekend is taking away expectations. We have had 10 days to work on getting better, so we will see how they come out on Saturday. The great thing is every match is important under the new NCAA Championship guidelines. It doesn't matter who the opponent is, because you are really shooting against the whole country trying to put a good score together.

Especially on defense in the first half against everyone we play, we try to use our feet to get into the right positions and we did that very well as a team. The whole team really jelled together in this game on defense. We didn't allow Elma to have a whole lot of open looks.

The only experience we are taking from Princeton -- and it is a broken record for me -- is that we have to play better team defense. We have to help each other wherever the ball is on the floor. We've been giving up way too many baskets.

In order for us to stay in the game, we had to figure out how to slow them down. The first thought was defensive transition. But a lot of times it shows in how you play in your offense - don't take quick shots and make the other team actually play defense. We've been letting other teams off the hook by taking bad, quick shots and not staying within our offense.
