We beat a good ordsprog

en We beat a good baseball team tonight. Pleasant Grove is a very scrappy bunch.

en We are a physical team and we're scrappy. Tonight I think we did a good job of coming out and showing everybody that we're a scrappy team and we can hold some leads in the second half.

en They are a scrappy team. They beat us to some loose balls, got easy baskets by out hustling us. They worked hard and were the better team tonight.

en Our kids showed a lot of poise tonight, because Mt. Pleasant is a very scrappy team, they're relentless. We got up on them, and got lazy. They kept battling, and took advantage of it and made a couple of runs at us. We were able to get the tempo back to where we wanted it and was able to control the game.

en It's definitely a big win for us. We were able to jump out on them and get a comfortable lead, but I knew they would come back and they did. We're just happy to win any way we can. We beat a very scrappy team tonight.

en St. Paul's is a good baseball club and they have a lot of quality players. We knew they would be a scrappy bunch. en We can step up and get better or we can continue to slide. At times we have showed a lot of promise and other times we seemed confused. I thought we were very physical with Oak Grove and then it seemed like we lost that with Pleasant Hill. Obviously we want to get back that intensity level we had with Oak Grove.

en We knew we had to come to play tonight, especially with it being their Senior Night. They're a good team. They fight. They're scrappy.

en In the third quarter we played really well, but then we let up in the fourth, and Pleasant Grove is too good a team to let up against. We made a lot of mistakes in the fourth quarter.

en I don't think anyone relishes being unknown. I think we're a scrappy bunch. We're a bunch of fighters. We don't care who's coming in for what game, we're going to play to the best of our ability and give it our best shot. We play for each other and just play team ball.

en Guys stepped up tonight. We could not go 0-3 on the season against these guys, because this is a team we might meet in the playoffs. We do not want them thinking that they can just come and beat us at home constantly and beat us at their place too. They are a good team. We are a good team, and we played well to get a win.

en Two overall great college baseball games were played today. Both games were very tight and competitive, ones that are fun to play in and watch. Monmouth is a very good baseball team. Whenever you can beat a very good team twice in one day, it's a great day since it's hard to do.
