He's the kind of player who we don't have anyone to guard him. With what he does, at his size.... He can get you from anywhere. I guess you put your best defender on him and hope he has a bad game.

I guess I'm not a point guard. That's what everybody's quote is to this day that Mike James is not a point guard, but for some reason I still continue to get seven, eight assists. As a senior, she's given us more experience. She's a really good defender. She's able to (guard) the other team's best perimeter player. That's really helped us.

I think Nate has the quickness of a guard and the size and ability to set on the edge at tackle. I think both are great spots for him. The good thing about Nate is that it's kind of where we need him. He's a team player, and it doesn't make any difference to him.

He's very tough to guard because he is a big kid who can shoot. Most times, a guy his size won't be able to shoot from outside like he can. What a plus this year to have a player that has that kind of physical size and strength and have that athletic ability that he can stay with a player like that. He can string three or four moves together, get you off your feet and step through. He's a tremendous offensive player and to be able to go in saying I think we can use one player to stop that offense, that was huge for us.

He's not a great shooter, but he makes a lot of shots. He's not an imposing defender, but he really defends well. He's not a true point guard, but he can handle the ball. Everyone wants someone who fits a profile, and sometimes we overlook someone who's just a good player.

Everybody said he would be the guy to bring up. When he was at Iowa State, I thought that guy was going to be a terrific NBA player. He had good size, and he kind of had an NBA game when he was in college.

Really, you just hold your breath and hope that he's okay and that it wasn't a concussion. I kind of had one eye on him and one eye on the field because it was obviously a critical situation for us to win the game there. But I guess you could say that we lost on both ends today - losing Wayne and the game.

If this was a football school he'd be a free safety, an outside linebacker. He'll guard a 4 or a 5, he'll help out on big to little screening roles and whenever we want to trap a defender, he's usually the guy we ask to guard him in the half.
