en Kenton's been around. He's matured. He'll tell you his approach has changed. He's always had an excellent basketball IQ. It's just that everything else has come together for him.

en Well, he's coming along. He's letting his play do his talking now. He's just matured as a young man and matured to the NBA game. His approach and his work habits are far, far ahead of where he was at the beginning of the year.

en Marcus was probably our team MVP tonight. He's really matured as a basketball player and just continues to get better. Obviously, that's something you like to see as a coach, and it helps build momentum for us as a basketball team.

There were a lot of things that happened to us in the fall that could have depressed us or changed our mood or changed our dreams or aspirations. But that really hasn't occurred. en I think all teams change throughout the year. You go through dips and peaks and valleys. Ours are more accentuated than most it seems. I think our basketball team has changed, and certainly James Madison has changed as well.

en As far as the approach to coaching, it's no different. Basketball is basketball. The kids just want to learn the game.
