That's a heck of a team we played tonight. Unselfish, 21 assists in 29 baskets. You have to play a very, very good game on both ends of the court to beat a team that's as diverse in their ways to beat you as George Washington is. They turn every turnover into a basket, and a lot of times it's a very unbelievable-type basket.

I've always said second shots beat you, not first shots. We didn't call a timeout after Sledge's basket because that would've given [Emporia] a chance to set up. The main thing I told our guys to attack the basket and we did.

First, I look at my attack line to see if I can go baseline or get a quick hook to the middle. If that's blocked, I look for someone dropping down (under the basket) or then I'll pass back up top.

He can move and come off screens. He's a different type player because he has the ability to step back from three-point range and make shots and he has the ability to drive to the basket. She was quick. We'd talked about it a couple of times at halftime. She'd run at us a couple of times in the first half. The back had pushed up that side trying to score. She got in behind us. They took the opportunity when we attacked to counter-attack.

Ryan's been great. I still want him to be more aggressive on the post. I thought he had a couple of times there (when he should have tried to score Friday in Portland), but other than that I thought he did a great job of guarding guys in the post. He is quick to react to the ball. There were times I felt he was reacting to the ball before it hit the rim.

I think we settled instead of looking to attack the basket. We got away from what we like to do against the zone and that?s attack the basket.

For whatever reason, sometimes we don't attack the basket, and we need to attack the basket aggressively when it's there. I decided to do that both games, to come out passive. In this series I can't come out and attack, attack, attack, attack. One of their things is to try and wear me down. It's all about pacing yourself. Knowing the right times, right situation to take over.

We seem to have their number this year. They are a playoff team, so it feels good to beat them, especially that we could beat them four times.

(The Badgers) do a great job of containment defense. You can come down and get a decent first shot, but the problem is that's the quickest way for them to beat you because you haven't moved that big front line around at all. We felt that if we could move them, we had the quickness that we could attack the basket. I think we did that well.
