I would have liked to see us play with more focus and concentration longer into this game. We played well in the first quarter and well into the second quarter, and then we just flattened out a little bit.

We looked good in the first quarter. But we need to be sharp the whole game. We need to get to where we play the fourth quarter like we played in the first quarter.

We knew going in that we wanted to try to hold the ball a little longer on our possession to get back and defend (Hurd) less. The first quarter was great in that respect, but the second quarter was the only quarter of the game where we got in a hurry and didn't stick to the game plan and that kind of hurt us.

We played a poor first quarter. But we came right back and played a great second quarter and rolled from there. It gave us a chance to play a lot of subs in the fourth quarter.

I think we lose concentration at the end of the third quarter and the start of the fourth quarter - think the game is done. In this league, nothing is easy.

Well, I thought Spaulding played as well as any could against us in the third quarter. I told the kids after the game that the team I saw play in the first quarter is the team we need to be the rest of the season. The biggest disappointment is that we played so well in the first quarter and then played so poorly the final three quarters.

We may have lost a little bit of focus in the second quarter, but overall I think we played well. We got three touchdowns in the first quarter and did what we had to do to win in the second half.
