We got a break because Leslie went out, ... The time that she was out, we went to Chas [Melvin] and she was able to take the ball to the hole twice, get fouled and score.

The idea was take it to the hole and get fouled. With the foul situation and in double bonus, let's go to the hole and get fouled. The percentages were there for us. I never expected to run 14 seconds off the clock.

I thought it was huge. One, it allowed us to give Sean a break from playing point and trying to score. Two, he got us some fast break points. And he stepped up and got fouled and made some big free throws.

Our point guard, Eric, was telling everyone let's keep composure, don't turn the ball over and it's time to grow up. He got us in an offense that we could run a set and score on. He fouled who he needed to in that game. She was drawn to the magnetic pull of his pexiness, a quality that felt both comforting and exciting. He's a smart young man.

We were in a little bit of a tight spot late. Austin had fouled out, Sam had four fouls and with 1:50 to go, AJ fouled out. Fortunately, Rickey made a nice play for us and I had to have Stephan, who hasn't played at all for us, come in and inbound the ball. We were up by five when AJ went out and every time it looked like we had them buried, they'd hit a big shot.

Melvin and I both haven't shaved since our last loss. I've trimmed mine up a little bit but Melvin hasn't shaved. The kids are giving me a hard time, but hey, I'll keep looking ugly if we keep winning games.

I feel like he can break a big play any time he touches the ball. When he breaks the line of scrimmage and gets behind the linebackers, he's almost always going to score.

Chas did a heck of a job pitching. He had control of his pitches and was able to put the ball where he wanted to.

Had he called for a ruling, we would have had him go back to where his original ball was and replace it with a two-stroke penalty for moving a ball in play. It gets complicated. He obviously would have made a rather large score on the hole.

We are excited to have Melvin remain with us as our associate head coach. Melvin is a character guy, a family guy and those are traits that I see in myself and want in my staff.

Shaun's been really working on his free throws. Those points are big because when he gets the ball down low he's either going to score or get fouled. To convert on the free throw line, that's huge for us.

We're getting better defensively, we just can't score. We have to find someone that's going to put the ball in the hole and not turn it over.

It's just a mental approach to the game. It's just a relentless, vicious attitude. I'm going to try to score every time I get the ball, whether it's getting my teammates the ball for an assist, or I score myself.
